Master Suite Bedroom

This very spacious and luxurious Master Suite Bedroom is located in one single, one storey pavilion with very high ceilings. It has a king-sized bed where you fall asleep like a rose and dream away. There is a very spacious dressing area, a wide terrazzo rain shower, an open-air bath surrounded with lotus ponds and a separate toilet. You can also find a beautiful wooden desk with a computer, fantastic contemporary art at the walls and a great lounging seat overlooking the green infinity views.

There is a very spacious pavilion located more towards the river which houses two different luxurious Bedrooms. Both are very similar bedrooms and have king-sized beds with en-suite bathrooms. There are high ceilings and whitewashed wooden floorings. The bathrooms have dressings, spacious rain showers, open-air baths set in beautiful private gardens with little lotus ponds and each a separate toilet.

Bedroom 8

This very spacious luxurious bedroom is nestled into the bigger pavilion which houses the dining room and the kitchen. The purpose of this room is to be multifunctional. Guests or children can stay here to enjoy splendid time at Villa Infinity Bali. Bedroom 8 has a little private garden, a bathroom with rain shower and a separate toilet.

Dining Room

The dining room is located in a sheltered and very spacious open-air pavilion offering the most stunning green infinity views over Bali’s beauty. It has a funky bar and is directly connected to the very large and professional kitchen which can cater for all tastes. The antique dining table can easily have 12 people eating in comfort. There is more furniture available to cater for larger groups and the staff will not hesitate to organize the facilities in the same but bigger way. The dining room is separated by beautiful Balinese lotus ponds from the living room in the central pavilion.

Living Room

The main pavilion overlooking the rice terraces is a very spacious and covered pavilion open on all sides. It has an enormous lounging sofa and fantastic contemporary art. Constructed in traditional Balinese style this living room makes you relax and lounge. Drink a cocktail here and enjoy the spectacular, unobstructed infinity views over Bali. In front of this main pavilion you can also see Villa Infinity Bali’s 40 meter excelling pool. The present music sound installation offers a finishing touch. The living room is connected to the Master Suite Bedroom and the dining room by bridges over the beautiful Balinese lotus ponds.

Media Room

In between the Master Suite Bedroom and the two Luxurious Bedrooms situated closer to the river there is a fantastic air conditioned media room with cinema, lounge, pool table and games. So if you want to work on your computer while it feels to hot outside, watch a movie on a big screen with surround sound effects, have a drink and lounge or play a game of pool or other kind of games: this is the place to be. Villa Mattise (5 Bedrooms)

The riverside Villa Mattisse is hidden away in the heart of the traditional fishing village of Seseh, just footsteps away from the beach on Bali’s southwest coast. The villa can accommodate up to ten guests; there are four double bedrooms complete with en-suite bathrooms, and a fifth bedroom with a single bed. Two of the bedrooms are situated within self-contained guest houses in the garden, and there is also a large swimming pool that almost seems to overflow into the river. The style is unashamedly romantic, and the funky colonial architecture is enhanced by a thatched roof and a bold black, white and silver décor.

Villa Tukad Pangi (3 Bedrooms)

Bali Villa Tukad Pangi at Canggu is not your average Bali villa. Sure, it’s stylish – in fact it recently featured in the Brava Casa interior magazine. But unlike some of those clinically chic places that border on being soulless, Villa Tukad Pangi is all about design that makes you feel thoroughly at ease.

Consider the lounge. The built-in couches are generously long and wide, more like a day bed really. They feature extra-broad edges, so you never need to reach far for that book, or drink. And when it’s time for something more active, the upper pool is literally a couple of steps away. The retractable 145 inch projector screen is equally user-friendly. One touch and it descends from the lounge ceiling, after which you’re all set for Cable TV or a movie from our wide selection of DVDs.

Your bedroom has huge glass sliding doors and wooden venetian blinds. Open them and Bali floods in. Close them, and you can seal yourself off for some peace and quiet. You needn’t leave the room for entertainment; there’s a 26? flat screen TV and 5.1 Channel Home Theatre speaker system. The sub-woofer sits under your bed, so you don’t just watch movies: you feel them. Last but certainly not least, the ensuite bathroom features a classic, open-to-the-skies Balinese shower surrounded by native plants. The large “Rain head” makes bathing even more of an indulgence.

From the lower infinity pool you’ll look out over the Pangi river and paddy fields that stretch from across the opposite bank and off into the distance. You’re close to nature here. Butterflies flit past, dragonflies hover in the sunlight and birdsong mingles with the melody of the river. This pool is especially refreshing and not just because of the view it’s shaded by palms and towering gatep trees.

When you emerge from the lower pool, the Bale awaits. A Bale is a traditional gazebo found throughout Indonesia. The Tukad Pangi version is fully equipped with a ceiling fan, power points and reading lights, making it an excellent place to lounge, day or night.

It’s also ideal for some serious pampering. One of the highlights of your stay here will be a massage in the Bale, with the soothing sounds of the river to complete the experience.

Then there’s The Studio. Think of it as a multimedia room on steroids. It boasts an 84?Absolute projector screen, Infocus DLP Home Theater projector, DVD Player, Cable TV and Yamaha Home Theatre Surround Sound System.

Help yourself to our DVD library, or if you’ve brought your own entertainment, hook up your laptop to the projector using the pre-installed VGA cabling. Likewise, the Yamaha sound system has audio connections for your iPod or Smartphone.

The kitchen. One of the most important rooms in the Villa, because we believe great food is essential for a great holiday. That’s why we pride ourselves on providing you with an excellent menu. Our cook, Nyoman, has worked in some of Bali’s leading restaurants including Ku de Ta. So he’s equally adept at Asian and Western cuisine

Exploring the surroundings. A great way to do this is by bicycle. There are two “Monarch 6? mountain bikes at your disposal. One of the most pleasant cycles is an early morning jaunt to Pererenan beach. It will take approximately 10 minutes and you can take in the sights and sounds of village life on the way there. If you’d rather walk, an evening stroll to Pererenan beach to view the sunset is highly recommended: it can be spectacular.

Villa Bunga Wangi (3 Bedrooms)

Villa Bunga Wangi is constructed in the traditional Balinese style consisting of separate pavilions located within 1500 sq.ms of landscaped gardens, designed by the award winning landscape architect, Made Wijaya. From the Balinese entrance gates to the villa grounds, one finds oneself descending the white palimanan stone steps through the landscaped gardens to the extraordinary ten metre high main living/dining pavilion which overlooks the natural green stone swimming pool nestled adjacent to the Pangi River.

The main living and dining pavilion, with its flagstone floor, is well suited for functions, while the adjacent flat lawn is perfect for Balinese dance performances. This sizeable, 10-metre high, open air pavilion is furnished with antique daybeds, an antique wooden coffee table, large cushions and a dining table for eight. Ceiling fans ensure the comfort of the guests, sturdy pillars support the shingle roof, and a bar to one side serves as a breakfast bar or a drinks bar. The pavilion is also graced with a number of antique artifacts including an ornamental painted wall panel that forms a striking centre-piece, flanked by a pair of Javanese statues resting in softly lit alcoves.

Each of the three individual air-conditioned bedroom pavilions is a short stroll through the villa grounds and each consists of a bedroom with king size bed, balcony overlooking the gardens and spacious ensuite bathroom and private courtyard with outdoor shower.

The master bedroom is located in the sleeping pavilion known as ‘Lily’: It also possesses a balcony-style deck. Complete with a comfortable daybed and a table, the deck overhangs the garden beside the pool and the temple. Similar to the other sleeping pavilions, the bedroom is graced with a double four poster bed and also has a satellite TV with VCD/CD player. The bathroom features a cream terrazzo tub beside glass windows within walled courtyard with an open air shower.

The air-conditioned study room and guest bedroom is known as ‘Hibiscus’. This cosy room has a cool terrazzo floor and is furnished with a comfortable sofa and two arm chairs, together with a satellite TV and VCD/CD player. The room enjoys a series of glass doors, which can be completely opened up, and there is also a small en-suite shower room with washbasin and toilet. A wooden staircase leads up to a mezzanine area, abundant with natural light from the large windows, which extend upwards from the glass doors below. The timber-floored mezzanine is furnished with a double bed.

There is a lockable, connecting door leading from Villa Bunga Wangi to the villa next door. This can be opened when there is a large group sharing the two villas. There is also a spacious and secure communal car park within the walled Pangi River Village complex.

The lovely terraced garden was created by the acclaimed landscape architect, Made Wijaya, who is well known for his romantic garden designs. White Palimanan steps lead past pink hibiscus, hand carved stone statues, and a lotus pond filled with Koi fish.

At the lowest level of the garden there is a kidney-shaped swimming pool, fashioned from green Javanese stone. It is characterised by an infinity edge and is bordered by flowering heliconia, coconut palms and the Pangi River. The pool area is furnished with sunloungers and also features a thatched relaxation balé pavilion.

Located within the Pangi River Village complex adjacent to village of Pererenan on Bali’s west coast in a secluded location overlooking the rice terraces beyond the Pangi River. The restaurant and night life districts of Legian and Seminyak are only 15 minutes to the south and the trip from the Ngurah Rai International Airport to the villa is approximately 30 minutes.

Le Meridien Hotel and the famous Tanah Lot Temple are a scenic 15 minute drive to the north, as is the world renowned Nirwana Bali Golf Course, designed by Greg Norman. The local beach, Pantai Pererenan, is a short 5 minute drive from the villa and is particularly popular with international surfers.

Villa Pangi Gita (3 Bedrooms)

3 air-conditioned double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and private pool. The same architects that constructed the luxurious Four Seasons Resort at Bali’s Jimbaran Bay were successfully contracted to create another fabulous ‘East meets West’ setting. The design objective was to create a private residence made up of several pavilions for the owner and his many guests – set upon a sloping crest and bounded by the Pangi River, the rich tropical gardens consist of a lush variety of tropical trees, palms and fragrant flowers including a variety of other colorful plant life.

The main living pavilion is built in the Grand Bali style with a traditional thatched-roof ceiling. An ambience of simplicity and style has been effectively created using such materials as native teakwood and local stone. The décor balances subtle hues with contrasts of wood, terracotta and traditional woven textiles. Overall, the selected artworks and artifacts throughout the compound have been effectively fused into the airy, open-planned structures to produce an idyllic tropical retreat, which is totally modern.

The library/study pavilion offers an air-conditioned alternative to the main living area. However, the walls and sliding glass doors can be folded back to enjoy the tranquility of the lotus pond in which it ‘floats’. It features another cushioned sitting area for relaxed reading or television viewing. Access to the air-conditioned dining pavilion is through a set of antique carved-teakwood doors.

The surrounding wooden and glass walls inside the elevated structure can also be folded back to relish in ‘al fresco’ dining, as well as the gentle setting of the gardens and river below it. The dining table seats 8 in comfort and the adjacent European-style kitchen is fully equipped with modern equipment. The kitchen also includes a comprehensive local and European style menu

The fully air-conditioned master suite consists of a large four-poster bed, walk-through dressing room and an over-sized en-suite bathroom – complete with a bathtub for two which overlooks an outside exercise deck and private tropical garden. The two separate guest pavilions are similar in features with air-conditioning and fully equipped indoor/outdoor Balinese style bathrooms with al fresco style tubs and showers

Water is another principal design element within the grounds of Pangi Gita. The upper gardens have several still and running water features throughout Koi fish lotus ponds. The lower grounds have an ‘infinity-edge’ swimming pool and a gentle flowing river with its soft rolling rapids, delivering tranquil aquatic sounds to both the master and guest pavilions. The swimming pool and shaded bale areas offer outstanding backdrop vistas of the adjacent tiered rice fields beyond the river

Villa Astika Toyaning (4 Bedrooms)

Our villa is called Astika Toyaning or beautiful water – well nearly. Astika means beauty, simple and minimalist and Toyaning – clean fresh water used in rice fields. Astika Toyaning is part of the Sungai Pangi Estate – a small villa complex of 8 luxury villas in Canggu set on a plot of over 120 are (12,000 sqmtrs) overlooking the Sungai Pangi river.

Astika Toyaning was completed in mid 2008 and its the total space (excluding car parking, common areas, etc,.) is nearly 1,600 sq mtr with 4 bedrooms (three double beds one twin bed); a 20 meter lap pool; 10 meter square pool; separate kitchen pavilion that seats 12 for dinner; a lounge and multimedia room.

There are loungers for 8 people around the pools as well as a Bale that sits at the end of the lap pool. The large outside living area overlooks both pools. We have three full time staff (two housekeepers and a full time cook) plus gardener, pool and security.

We finished construction nearly a year ago but have yet to formally put it on the rental market. We have stayed in it quite a lot as well as family and friends to date. It is ‘modern Bali’ in style built to western standards. We used a Australian architect and construction company

VILLA LOCATION

Villa Olesha is a magnificent three bedroom villa located on the west coast of Bali, just five minutes walk from the sandy surfing beach of Canggu. It is reachable within 20 minutes from Ngurah Rai International Airport, it is only 15 minutes from the vibrant tourist area of Seminyak, and 15 minutes drive to Nirwana Golf Course

VILLA STYLE

It beckons the visitor with a tall artistic tower with arches and stained glass walls. A terracotta sun-face gives approaching visitors the feeling they are entering a very special place located among the emerald green paddy fields. The villa is designed with amazing Balinese architecture and an Indian touch. The entrance level of the sprawling property, welcomes the visitor with statues of elegant Balinese ladies holding flower- pots atop their heads. The car passes along the coconut, mango and other fruit trees to reach the garage where the staff receives the visitor against the backdrop of a magnificently sculpted Javanese door.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The lounge, measuring 16m long and 5m wide is beautifully decorated niches on one side and a view to the courtyard on the other side. It has a 3m x 2m single block inlaid green marble floor with mirrors on the ceiling covering the air-conditioners. The lounge also merges into the entertainment section with a giant TV screen providing satellite TV, DVD, LCD, VCR and BOSE surround music for a home theatre. A library is on the left side. The right side opens to a colorfully tiled verandah with relaxing wooden chairs for a view of the water fountain in the center of the courtyard.

Wooden stairs, under an imposing three-span arch, lead to the first floor with wide-open windows, equally big as the Master suite down below. It gives an eyeful of the magnificent scenery around including the ocean and a splendid view of the estate. The wooden columns and hand carved arches provide a charming setting for a relaxed atmosphere with friends on the specially designed chairs, sofas and canopy-bed. A bar is also set on the exquisite wooden floor.

The colonnade of the house leads to the two guest bedrooms located on one side of the garden. Air-conditioned with mosquito nets, the rooms are charmingly decorated with painting and lovely statues in the en-suite indoor-outdoor toilet and bathroom. A large wardrobe with safety box and a writing desk with chair complete the furniture arrangement. In between the two guest bedrooms is a daybed for lounging and to appreciate the manicured garden with exotic hand crafted statues in white palimanan stone.

The colonnade, with beautiful Indian and Balinese paintings on the right side walls, passes through a charming entry with a stone carved screen on the left and ends at the master bedroom. The large Master bedroom with wide sliding glass doors opens to the swimming pool on one side and a wooden deck on the other. In the center of the property is a formal square living room. On the right of the colonnade leading to the living room is a uniquely designed toilet. The living room is open on all the four sides with tall sliding glass doors and an antique wooden door facing the second level garden. The reclining sofas and chairs under a fan with a stereo music system gives a breathtaking view of the third and the fourth lower levels of the property and the swimming pool; a world far from the madding crowds. A beautifully crafted ceramic inlay at the center of the room reinforces the Asian touch brought home ecstatically by three magnificent silk paintings. The four steps, in front, lead to the white terrace with a motive for chess. The terrace is ideal for parties and events. The colonnade also leads to the raised dining room on wooden pillars. The dining room is open on all the three sides with wooden columns supporting beautifully carved arches. Two dining marble tables mounted on Palimanan stones with antique dragon-shaped candle-supports and specially designed leather chairs provide an elegant feeling of comfort and ease.

On the fourth and the lowest level of the estate is set a unique lumbung, among luxurious flowers and fruit trees with fish-ponds and fountains. The architecture is that of a rural rice-barn with thatched roof. It comprises gym area on the lower level and spa area on the first floor provided also with a fan and a mosquito curtain making it a very intimate place to enjoy the rural and rustic atmosphere. The view of the vast expanse of multi-tiered rice fields beyond the swimming pool and the peaceful river set against the traditional rice-barn with deck can washed away any stress. The kitchen right behind the dining room is fully equipped to meet with the demands of the rich menu.

The large infinity swimming pool placed at the end of the third level of the property is ideal for the community time. The eighteen-meter long pool gives ample scope for a good work out as also fun and frolic. Easy chairs of different designs provide sunbathing facilities in any postures. The Balinese Bale with comfortable cushions facilitates reading or napping under the roof covered with bougainvillea flowers. The pool lets the water through a cascade into a lower pool. A wooden platform under the mini-waterfall of about three meters helps to have a full invigorating body massage making it a natural Jacuzzi.

Reach the landmark tower of Olesha, by slowly walking along the soft but firm green grass of the wide lawns surrounded by stunning flowers of all hues, fruit trees showing off their attractive possessions against the relaxing chatter of the water fountains at all the four levels. Going up the stairs of the tower, giving an atmosphere of ages passed by with the arches and the stained glass wall, you reach an intimate salon on the top with a comfortable mattress. There, leaning against the round cushions, you are a Nawab, looking down on the fabulous property with the volcanic mountain range of Bali on one side and the Uluwatu peninsula and Indian Ocean on the other. Sandwiched between them is the inevitable lush greenery of Bali with a bright orange colored glorious sun either rising or setting. An idyllic place to melt into Mother Nature.

Villa Mawar (5 Bedrooms)

Enter Villa Mawar through a winding staircase which is surrounded by palms and large trees, stepping stones over a lotus pond will bring you to the main entrance of Villa Mawar. The main open air living and dining area is spacious offering cool breezes throughout the day. The dining area is fan-cooled and seats ten people with an additional lounge area with scattered cushions for relaxation. The villa is equipped with a large kitchen which has a separate staff service area. The study is in a separate pavilion which features a lounge, plasma television with satellite connection, DVD player with a movie library and a selection of books. Villa Mawar is well designed and features natural alang-alang and wooden sirap roofing which blends in with its natural surroundings.

All bedrooms are fully air-conditioned with private open-air bathroom en-suites. The bathrooms feature separate bathtubs and showers accompanied by small tropical gardens. Each bedroom has its own balcony with forest and river views. Bedroom one features a king sized four poster bed with a spacious walk-in cupboard connecting to the en-suite bathroom. Villa The Alir (5 Bedrooms)

The Alir is a spacious 5-bedroom estate, nestled beside a river within the beautiful agricultural belt between Seminyak and Canggu on Bali’s southwest coast. The property comprises a main house and two additional guest houses, a relaxation pavilion and a large swimming pool, set in 2800 square metres of beautiful gardens. An omnipresent quality of the property is the abundance of light and space. The graceful architecture of the main two-storey house blends tropical architecture with contemporary design, traditional Indonesian materials, a shingle roof, and recycled teak and bengkirai hardwood floors. The pool house and guest bungalow are traditional Javanese wooden houses that have been lovingly restored and rebuilt.

Living Area

The open sided living area is located on the ground floor of the main house. Cooled by natural breezes and pendulous ceiling fans, it lends itself to be an ideal entertainment environment, incorporating a modern open plan kitchen and boasting wonderful views of the terraced gardens. This large airy space is furnished with a solid dining table for eight, created from a single piece of wood, and ideal for dinner parties. There is also a comfortable sofa and two chairs, a coffee table, a funky lantern, and local artefacts and artwork. A staircase leads up to a splendid mezzanine with a recycled teakwood floor and a balcony walkway lined with four statuesque urns. A guest washroom, with toilet and washbasin, is located on ground level to one side of the living area

Kitchen

The well equipped open plan kitchen features glass fronted wall units and a black marble serving counter. It is here that the staff will prepare and serve delicious meals.

Bedrooms 1 & 2

Two air-conditioned bedrooms are positioned on the ground floor of the main house. Mirror versions of each other, each is accessed by antique doors and each features a warm wooden floor and latticed sliding doors that are reminiscent of the shoji screens of traditional Japanese architecture; when opened the pool deck and garden appears and the interior becomes one with nature. Each bedroom is furnished with a custom made king size bed and a desk, and each has a walk in wardrobe with cupboards, hanging space and a large mirror. Each en-suite bathroom features a tiled floor, and open air area surrounded by a wall with an indoor-outdoor rainshower, unpolished marble walls, a glass washbasin, a toilet, and a large terrazzo bathtub for soaking up those romantic relaxing interludes.

Cinema Room

The air-conditioned cinema room is located at the top of the stairs, to one side of the mezzanine, and accessed by a set of double doors. The room, complete with its soaring roof, is furnished with comfortable cushioned sofas and ottomans, a coffee table and a desk in one corner, it features built-in glass shelving and a floor created from recycled antique timber. This state-of-the-art home theatre boasts a huge wall mounted cinema screen, supported by a hi-tech surround sound and music system, and a projector for showing movies and DVDs, in addition to satellite TV channels.

Bar & Pool Table

At the far end of the mezzanine, overlooking the Zen bamboo garden is a semi open-air area with a teakwood bar, together with heavy solid wood bar stools, corner seating and a pool table. To one side is a guest washroom with toilet and washbasin.

Pool House

The pool house rests in an elevated position within the garden. It is accessed by five steps, and characterised by antique teakwood walls and a shingle roof. This enchanting little house is flanked by a raised timber deck, complete with an outdoor bar, a quality sound system, a barbeque area and an outdoor dining table and chairs. Gorgeous antique doors open to reveal a spacious air-conditioned bedroom with an antique teakwood floor, on which rests a custom made king size teak bed, innovative bedside lamps, a large dressing table and a wardrobe under the high, timber-lined roof. Local hand-woven ikat bed linens complete the picture of rustic charm. The semi open air en-suite bathroom features glass shelving, a glass washbasin, rainshower and toilet.

Bungalow

A two storey building at the far end of the garden houses two further air-conditioned bedrooms. The downstairs lagoon bedroom with ensuite overlooks the waterfall and enjoys the tranquillity of the sound of running water. Warm hardwood Mabao floors and beautiful tropical flower paintings help complete the feeling of Zen.

Upstairs is a fully restored teak bungalow accessed by an external flight of stone steps. With a polished concrete floor, pitched roof and white washed timber walls, this delightful bedroom has the feel of a wooden chalet. It is attractively furnished with a king size bed, bedside lamps, table, chair, and a wardrobe. Sliding doors lead on to an ironwood deck complete with a hammock and table for two. Raised high above the garden, the bedroom and deck affords stunning views all over the estate and the surrounding rice fields, and the breezy deck is a particularly delightful place to relax. The en-suite bathroom has a rainshower, a washbasin on a carved washstand, and a toilet. It features unpolished marble brick walls, and skylights in the roof, which let in plenty of natural light.

Swimming Pool & Gardens

The enticing 18-metre swimming pool is positioned in front of the main house and is ideal for swimming laps. It utilises an advanced salt water filtration system that is soft on the earth and gentle on the skin. It also incorporates a circular champagne plug pool, adding to the delight of tropical living. For those who enjoy lazing beside the pool, the ironwood pool deck is furnished with traditional sunbeds, in addition to two romantic half moon canopied day beds that offer a shaded option. The expansive terraced gardens are characterised by flat terraced lawns, punctuated by beautiful mature trees. In the far corner is a lagoon ablaze with purple flowering water hyacinths and a waterfall that delivers the tranquillity of a tropical oasis. Set back from the swimming pool is a relaxation pavilion with floor cushions, a low table and a beaded lamp.

Villa The Beji (6 Bedrooms)

Taking its name from a sacred spring, the magnificent six-bedroom villa, known as ’The Beji’, rests within 40-are of land, bordered by rice terraces and a river, within walking distance of the beach on Bali’s south-western coast. The property is comprised of ten single-storey pavilions, together with one double-storey building, a 27-metre swimming pool, and ornamental ponds, leisurely spread throughout lush, expansive gardens. Constructed of local materials, with ironwood shingle roofs, the style is restful with a fresh cool décor and contemporary furnishings.

Living Pavilion & Sunken Lounge

The elevated, open-sided, living pavilion presides over the garden; its Palimanan stone floor extending onto a timber deck bounded by a cascading wall of water. Embracing a stylish cream and black colour theme, the pavilion is furnished with three yielding sofas, two ottomans and a coffee table, complemented by a coiled stainless steel sculpture and lamp-stand created by local sculptor, Chen of ’Chenergy’. Ideal for entertaining and relaxing, this ample lounge is cooled by natural breezes and paddle ceiling fans. Surround-sound music speakers are fitted in the high roof. To one side of the Living Pavilion is another deck, with two frangipani trees and an open-air sunken lounge, presenting built-in cushioned seating at a lower level.

Dining Pavilion

The elegant dining pavilion showcases a huge teak dining table, large enough to accommodate up to 18 people. The pavilion is open on three sides with a high roof, and a creamy-white Palimanan stone floor. Antique artefacts are displayed in alcoves within the supporting pillars, and wooden benches provide additional seating; a stainless steel sculpture takes pride of place, and an ornamental pond runs along one side. A guest washroom is located close to the dining pavilion.

Kitchen

The state-of-the-art service kitchen is located behind the dining pavilion, and is fully equipped with everything that the staff need in order to produce delicious Western and Asian meals. Fitted with gleaming appliances, enhanced by black marble and teak, this impressive kitchen is also a professional facility for outside caterers to prepare lavish feasts for weddings, parties and special functions.

Library / Media Room and Upper Deck

A flight of steps leads from the dining pavilion to the air-conditioned library and media room, located close to the entrance of the property. This is the only room at the villa that is positioned on an upper level. Featuring a teakwood floor, and fitted with a ceiling fan in addition to the air-conditioning, this home-theatre is furnished with L-shaped sofas, ottomans, coffee tables, lamps, and built-in bookshelves. It boasts a wall-mounted, electronically-operated 1.5 metre cinema screen, supported by a hi-tech surround-sound and music system, and a projector for showing movies and DVDs, in addition to satellite TV channels. Double doors open onto a stone balcony deck, with an enormous daybed and gorgeous views of the rice fields.

Bedrooms

There are six air-conditioned bedrooms at The Beji, each with its own en-suite bathroom, dressing room, and open-air relaxation deck. Each bedroom is equipped with a flat screen TV with satellite channels, a DVD player and quality sound system, and a safe deposit box. Additionally, there are two furnished, open-sided, living pavilions shared by the double and twin-bedded suites.

The two master suites are located on either side of the pool, accessed by sliding glass doors with wooden shutters. Each of these sizeable bedrooms presents a polished teakwood floor, a king-size, canopied four-poster bed, comfy chairs, a standard lamp, and a cushioned window seat. The TVs in the master bedrooms are 29-inch. A separate dressing area, adjacent to each bedroom, offers plenty of hanging and storage space. Each sumptuous bathroom is dominated by an oversized terrazzo bathtub, which is surrounded by a raised wooden deck complete with a built-in cushioned seat. Teak vanity units, twin washbasins, large wall mirrors, a walled garden area planted with palms and taro, and a spacious rainshower with a pebbled surround completes the picture of bath-time opulence. In front of each master bedroom is raised wooden deck overhanging the two shallow areas of the swimming pool. Each is furnished with a massive 3.5 x 2 metre daybed.

The two double suites and two twin-bedded suites are very similar in design to the master suites. The adjoining bathrooms are smaller than the master bathrooms, but sumptuous nonetheless! Features include open-air rainshowers bordered by young bamboo, sunken bathtubs and twin washbasins, complemented by soaring roofs and glassless windows with carved Palimanan fretwork screens. Outside, wooden decks with comfy armchairs and cushioned daybeds are flanked by bubbling ponds stocked with bulrushes and koi.

Garden & Recreational Facilities

The gardens encompass a clipped velvety lawn, flanked by a pair of regal feathery palms. The splendid 27 x 10-metre swimming pool is the focal point; it is 2.2 metres deep, with two segregated shallow areas for kids, positioned at either side. The timber pool deck has the appearance of an island, and is furnished with red umbrellas and four, red, triple-sunlounger-chairs. Speakers positioned beside the pool carry music around the garden. There is also a secluded garden beside the main entrance and dining pavilion, planted with giant taro and white flowering shrubs.

The extensive open space within garden, together with the numerous terraces and living areas, makes The Beji an ideal tropical setting for parties, weddings, celebrations, barbeques and other functions. The sizeable modern kitchen provides the staff with the equipment and facilities to cater for a wide variety of events and many guests. Special events can also be coordinated by professional outside caterers who have the world-class expertise to prepare a sumptuous feast at the villa, in addition to the coordination of decorations, flowers, lighting, sound systems and entertainment. A family group can be indulged with a sizzling barbeque beside the pool at sunset, the smooth lawn can be utilised as a stage for Balinese dance performances, and the garden is large enough to comfortably accommodate well over 100 guests. There is a spacious and secure car parking area at the front. Additional recreational facilities include a tennis court and a gym.

The Beji is hidden away in the Balinese village of Berawa, one kilometre from the beach, near Canggu. Villa Mako (3 Bedrooms)

Villa Mako is a peaceful 3-bedroom retreat, complete with swimming pool, located in a quiet traditional village above a small river valley. The single-storey villa is neo-colonial in style, similar to the Dutch guesthouses of the Javanese and Malay hill stations, characterised by louvre shutters, old teak doors, and spectacular high wooden ceilings built of seasoned timbers. The eclectic interiors reflect the travels and passions of the owners, introducing Balinese and Javanese antiques, combined with a bold use of colour to create a very personal atmosphere.

Designed to maximise the natural light, and catch the cool breezes even at the hottest time of year, the property offers a blend of air-conditioned comfort and open-air tropical living. Its elevated position, meanwhile, affords beautiful open views over the pool to a jungle canopy against a backdrop of rice terraces.

The furnishings and decorations include large mirrors, armchairs, cushions and loungers that focus on comfort as well as style. There are numerous relaxation areas, together with a huge amount of covered space, so guests will always find a private spot for peace and quiet. In fact, a large family or group of people could stay at the villa and still lose each other within its depths. In addition to this, guests have the choice of three different eating areas, all of which present a unique ambience.

An advanced water filter system is used throughout the villa, raising the quality of the tap water to provide a pure drinking water source in the kitchen, with drinking water also supplied to the bathrooms and bedrooms.

There is an on-site laundry and plenty of storage space for luggage.

Entrance

The villa is approached via a private driveway with a secure car parking area. Two Chinese welcome statues guard the entrance beside a set of double Balinese doors, which open to reveal a covered walkway with a pitched roof, ensuring that there is no danger of getting wet during the rainy season. The walkway circumvents a lotus pond complete with a bubbling water feature in its centre.

Kitchen

Unlike many villas in Bali, where the kitchen is tucked away at the back of the property, the large and immaculate open kitchen at Villa Mako is a feature in itself, situated on one side of the lotus pond. Cream terrazzo work surfaces are flanked by well-stocked glass-fronted cupboards full of sparkling tableware. The kitchen is fully equipped with a sizeable refrigerator, an oven with a large gas hob, and everything else that the staff will need to create delicious meals. Wayan is an excellent cook; a menu is provided showing the dishes that she can prepare, and she is also very happy to work with other recipes and ingredients.

Breakfast area

To one side of the kitchen, overlooking the lotus pond is a breakfast area. Javanese-style glass lanterns hang from the ceiling, together with paddle fans. The circular marble-topped breakfast table is flanked by six chairs with brightly coloured yellow green and orange cushions matched by a decorative panel on the wall. A guest washroom is located next door.

Media Room

Bordering the lotus pond is a cosy media room, reminiscent of a wooden chalet, and furnished with an oversized sofa with deep cushions in gorgeous shades of green, turquoise and orange. Colourful artwork adorns the walls, and there is also a sofa-bed, a leather lazy rocking chair, a double-decker coffee table, some attractive lamps, shelf units, and a leather woven mat on the floor. The room is built around four recycled timber pillars that support the roof. Folding doors open directly on to the lotus pond, so that the pavilion appears to float. Guests can relax in air conditioned comfort or they can open the doors wide and be cooled by ceiling fans and natural breezes.

The Media room is equipped with a TV together with DVD/CD players, and dial-up Internet access. A small Vaio laptop computer has been installed for those who would rather not bring their own. The high quality sound system is linked to speakers all around the villa, or alternatively music can simply be contained within the media room. There is a connection to the amp for those who want to listen to music stored on their personal iPods or laptops.

Main Hall

The central focus of the villa is the magnificent main hall, an expansive living and dining area with folding doors on either side that open wide to allow the cool breezes to circulate. The soaring roof in this splendid pavilion is 8.5 metres high, and supports paddle ceiling fans. The hall is furnished with a formal teak dining table that comfortably seats ten and is lit by pendulous globe-shaped lanterns. Traditional Indonesian artefacts are displayed on wall shelves, while chairs and a huge daybed, complete with an abundance of cushions, is positioned around a funky coffee table. Lamp-stands in the form of wooden Javanese statues, together with a huge, crystal wall mirror, complete the picture of luxury. Folding doors composed of wood and glass open onto a sunny Batu Yogya stone terrace, which doubles the living space of the hall making it a perfect venue for parties.

Bedrooms

Each of the three air-conditioned bedrooms presents a theme; each boasts an en-suite bathroom, and each is equipped with air-conditioning, ceiling fans, a mini-bar/fridge and safe deposit box. The two master bedrooms enjoy soaring roofs and magnificent views together with sunny balconies at the front, furnished with lazy chairs, overlooking the garden and pool. Fitted with ceiling fans, the balconies are great spots for relaxing with morning tea or afternoon cocktails.

The Bali Room is furnished with a super-king-size four-poster bed canopied with the traditional hand-woven textile known as ‘ikat’. The room features polished teak floors and French windows with louvre shutters, which open out onto the terrace and balcony. Antique furniture, bedside tables and lamps create a romantic ambience. Timeworn stained glass doors lead into a large dressing room with a Batu Yogya stone floor, a massage bed and an abundance of cupboards with antique louvre doors. This room can also be used for nursery, and a cot can be provided. Another colonial style door leads into the expansive cream-coloured terrazzo bathroom, featuring ‘his and hers’ washbasins resting upon a terrazzo vanity unit. There is also a huge wall mirror, hanging lamps, ceiling fans, an alcoved toilet, and a powerful overhead rainshower complemented by the thoughtful provision of a handheld shower. A glass skylight in the roof allows the sunlight to stream in above a sunken sculptured terrazzo bathtub, which is big enough for two. Decorative green bamboo trunks in terrazzo pots add to the tropical feel.

On the opposite side of the terrace, double doors open into the Colonial Room with its lovely polished teak floor, and a super-king-size four-poster bed with white drapes and snakeskin cushions. A gold-framed mirror hangs on the wall and French windows with louvre shutters enhance the colonial theme. The bedroom is furnished with a desk, armchairs, and an ottoman at the end of the bed, and there is a dressing area with fitted cupboards. The en-suite bathroom is L-shaped; fixtures and furnishings include an oversized sunken sculptured terrazzo bathtub, ‘his and hers’ washbasins, a toilet hidden within an alcove, hanging lamps, a rainshower with a handheld shower, a massage bed and ceiling fans. The bathroom has an open air feel, due to the provision of glass windows in the roof, maximising the natural light.

The Bamboo Room is accessed by double antique doors, and can be set up with two beds for younger guests or as double room. The en-suite cream terrazzo bathroom features twin washbasins, a toilet hidden within an alcove, ceiling fans, and a rainshower with a handheld shower. Glass windows in the roof maximise the natural light.

Garden & Pool

A wrought iron gate heralds the entrance to a central flight of steps leading down to the pool through an avenue of umbrella ferns. The beautiful garden then rolls down to a river located behind its boundary walls. The garden is dotted with sweet-scented frangipani and orchids, and bordered by mature trees including teak, coconut palms, and a towering breadfruit tree. On either side of the garden is a banana, palm and pandanus plantation.

Although the gate is an attractive feature in itself, this with an adjoining fence separates the main house from the pool to ensure the safety of any young children staying at the property.

The 18-metre mango-shaped swimming pool is 1.5 metres deep with a large platform area just 15 centimetres deep for kids. The cobalt-blue tiled pool is filled with light salt water instead of chlorine, and is equipped with an innovative filtering system utilising pure water from the villa’s own bore.

The stone pool terrace is furnished with six sunloungers, table and chairs, four large Balinese parasols, and two poolside statues of Balinese gods and goddesses. On one side is a barbeque ‘bale’ pavilion, with a thatched ‘alang alang’ roof, a dining table for six, a fridge, a fan, an intercom to the house, speakers for the sound system, and a sink. A washroom is located behind the pavilion, and the staff will prepare barbeques beside the pool. Additionally, there is a poolside reading bale, fitted with bamboo blinds, a fan, and a colourful mattress and cushions.

Twelve flaming torches at night cast a stunning reflection of the Balinese parasols within the still water of the pool, turning the scene into a romantic little paradise, serenaded by a chorus of frog song.

At the bottom of the garden is a rustic brick wall with a door opening onto the river bank; here guests will find a simple and private riverside bale, perfect for meditation. This is also the site of a holy spring, where offerings to the gods are made by the local villagers. Eighty metres along the river-bank is the village temple. Guests will be welcomed at temple festivals, some may even be lucky enough to witness a barong dance or other Hindu ceremony. The villa staff will be happy to help with ceremonial clothing and advice on etiquette.

Villa Niloufar (5 Bedrooms)

Entrance

Villa Niloufar is approached via a spacious car park with a security post and an openwork metal pivot gate. Guests will then walk past the first of the two, stunning rooftop lily ponds as they descend a stone stairway into the main, open-air entrance area with its natural stone walls. From here, the full visual impact of the villa takes effect. Eyes will be drawn along the length of an elevated, ornamental pond, past immaculate lawns towards the swimming pool, the river and rice terrace beyond. A pair of welcome statues from the island of Nias rest in front of the entrance hall, and from here guests will look across to the main living and dining area capped with another lotus pond roof.

Living & Dining Room

The expansive living and dining area is open on three sides and features a terrazzo floor. It is cooled by natural breezes and ceiling fans, and amply furnished with an abundance of large segmented daybeds, ottomans and cushions. The décor presents fresh white and natural stone walls complemented by teakwood panels. An antique Timorese dining table for twelve is positioned next to a terrazzo bar, while rustic artwork and primitive statues complete the fusion of ancient and avant-garde. There is a spacious guest washroom located off the living area, complete with a walk-in rainshower.

Kitchen

The kitchen is conveniently located behind the bar, close to the dining area. It is fully equipped with everything that the chef needs in order to prepare delicious meals, in accordance with the needs and whims of his guests. A wet kitchen and a laundry are both tucked away out of sight at the back, together with the service area, staff quarters and staff entrance.

TV Room

The air-conditioned TV room is located off the living room, and is fully equipped with the hi-tech facilities of a Pionner home theatre, including a Samsung 42-inch plasma TV with 45 channels, a Pionner DVD/CD player, a Sansui 4X300 watts amplifier, and four BMB speakers – sufficient power for a discotheque! The room is furnished with comfy segmented sofas and a built-in terrazzo shelf unit.

Gym

The gym is located a lower level than the main living and dining area, underneath the swimming pool and overlooking the river. It is accessed by descending an external stairway. The villa gym includes a range of excellent equipment with elliptic, power plates, treadmill, steps… and air conditioning (of course!). There is also a TV and DVD player in the gym and an outdoor shower on the approach.

Bedrooms

There are five self-contained bedrooms at Villa Niloufar, three of which are tucked under a lotus pond roof. There are two master bedrooms; one is located on an upper level and is very private with a terrace and daybed overlooking the magnificent lotus pond above the living area. This spacious room features sliding glass doors to maximise the spectacular view, a custom built teakwood king size bed, hanging space and storage units. The adjoining bathroom is equipped with washbasins carved out of rock and a walk-in shower and toilet within separate glassed areas. An additional walled, garden, bathing area, open to the sky and planted with palms and bougainvillea, is dominated by an oversized, deep bathtub, which has also been carved out of solid black rock.

The second master bedroom embraces lovely views of the garden and terraced rice field. Doors on either side of the king size teak bed open into the bathroom, complete with a large terrazzo tub, twin washbasins, a walk in shower and toilet.

The remaining three bedrooms are all quite similar to each other, yet each one has its own characteristics. Each is furnished with a king size bed and built in wardrobes and storage space. Each bathroom is equipped with a walk-in rainshower, twin washbasins and a toilet. One of these bedrooms features an outdoor shower in a walled garden bathroom. Each bedroom is equipped with a safe deposit box.

Swimming Pool & Massage Bale

The 17 x 5 metre, swimming pool is located beside the living area. It features an infinity edge on two sides, and is bordered by an ironwood deck that extends the length and one side of the pool. No chemicals are used in the pool; instead it employs an advanced ioniser filter system that is soft on the earth and gentle on the skin. The deck is furnished with deeply cushioned, ’Hishem’ synthetic rattan sunloungers. On the far side of the pool is a thatched riverside bale, which is a delightful spot for a massage.

Garden & River

The fast-flowing river is particularly beautiful; the river bank is accessed by a winding path and steps, and its jungle environs are restful and cool. The ’bale bengong’ relaxation pavilion – an enchanting, lazy, breezy gazebo, sheltered by an alang alang roof and supported by pillars – is positioned in a strategic place, so that guests can relax and enjoy the tranquillity The Balinese word ’bengong’ means ’lost in thought’, and ’bale’ means an abode, so a bale bengong is literally a ’contemplation house’, designed for reflection, dreaming and meditation. Shady mature trees include majestic breadfruit, figs and towering palms, together with creepers and ferns. On the far side of the river is a picturesque rice terrace. The extensive grounds are landscaped with flat lawns punctuated with palms. From the swimming pool level, the garden cascades down to the valley; and is planted with many varieties of flowering shrubs. In addition to the main ornamental pond and the two rooftop lotus ponds, another pebble-lined pond rests beside the living area. Guests will be lulled by the soothing flow of the river and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature, butterflies and birds.

Villa Simona Oasis & Spa (5 Bedrooms)

The spectacular Simona Oasis & Spa is a 5-bedroom destination villa and spa, resting upon a venerated spur of land fed by a holy spring at the confluence of two rivers. The single storey accommodation comprises seven self-contained thatched pavilions, and is located close to the beach at Canggu, a traditional fishing village on Bali’s southwest coast.

The property is heralded by a dramatic Balinese gateway of carved stone and double doors, leading into an entrance garden bordered on one side by a Palimanan stone wall showcasing a magnificent carving in the design of tropical leaves.

Living & Dining Pavilion

Entering the main open air living and dining pavilion, guests will step over ornamental ponds fed by gin-clear natural spring water. With a large dining table at one end and a bar at the other, this raised pavilion presides over the garden and is furnished with comfy daybeds and sofas, a big coffee table and Buddha lamp stands. The coffee and cream décor, together with the reddish-hued bengkirai wood floor, sets the theme throughout the property, while natural breezes enhanced by paddle ceiling fans keep the area cool.

Garden and Swimming Pool

Wide lava stone steps lead down onto a grass and paving stone chequerboard terrace, ideal for dance performances and cocktail parties. Two ancient frangipani trees, together with a Buddha head set within an alcove in one corner, create a peaceful ambience. More steps wind down onto another lawn towards the swimming pool.

The swimming pool is elevated above the garden, and flanked by a delightful gazebo known as a ’bale bengong’, meaning “a place to relax, dream and do nothing”. Complete with a large wooden cowbell, which guests can ring whenever they need to be served with drinks, refreshments or lunch, the gazebo is made comfortable with soft cushions. The raised timber pool deck is furnished with ten sunloungers and four umbrellas. The pool measures 13 x 5.6 metres and is 1.6 metres in depth. It is bordered on one side by towering mature trees alongside one of the rivers against a backdrop of rice terraces. Three more Buddha statues rest serenely in alcoves watching over the garden and pool. The pool area is perfect for barbeques dinners, and looks very romantic at night when it is lit by candles.

Pathways meander through the multi-levelled gardens, which roll down the rivers and feature relaxing riverside bale pavilions, furnished with coffee-coloured cushions and soft cream drapes.

Bedrooms 1, 2, 3 & 4

The bedrooms and their adjoining garden bathrooms are all located in self contained thatched pavilions. Bedrooms 1 & 2 are linked by an open corridor sheltered by a roof. A living tree has been preserved and grows straight through the roof of the corridor, in front of which is a wooden balcony-style deck, complete with a built-in daybed overlooking the river and the beautiful temple on the opposite side.

Each air-conditioned bedroom is entered by double doors showcasing engraved brass handles, and each is characterised by dark reddish brown bengkirai wood floors under soaring roofs. Every bedroom boasts an LCD flat screen individually controlled satellite TV, enabling guests to watch satellite channels independently of each other. Each is complemented by a DVD player, quality sound system and iPod dock. Bedrooms 1, 3 & 4 are furnished with built-in canopied double beds made up with crisp white bed linen. Bedroom 2 features two single beds. Picture windows capture the riverside views, and opulent open-air bathrooms boast cream terrazzo floors, twin washbasins, daybeds for lounging, and large terrazzo bathtubs. The tubs are sheltered from the elements yet positioned within private walled gardens enhanced by soft lawns, frangipani trees, and stone carved ornaments. Each bathroom also features a toilet with an intercom, and a shower in a cubicle that is open on one side to the garden. Furthermore, every guest need is considered with the provision of storage space, wardrobes and mini bars in each room. Sliding wooden shutters behind the beds can be opened so that guests can look out into the bathroom and garden if they wish.

Master Bedroom

The Master Bedroom features a deck-style balcony on two sides, with steps that lead down to a riverside bale relaxation pavilion. The bedroom is notable for the Buddha head and soft panels behind the double bed, flanked by two polished solid wood tree trunks, lit with discreet lighting. There is also a desk, and a dressing area with a huge mirror and a padded ottoman. The bathroom and outdoor Jacuzzi is accessed by a covered walkway with wooden pillars and spring water ponds on either side. The Jacuzzi rests within a thatched pavilion, surrounded by flowering shrubs and overlooking the river. The bathroom features arched open doorways, comfortable furnishings, twin washbasins, a toilet, and a shower big enough for two.

Guest Washrooms

The Guest Washrooms are situated in a thatched pavilion with orange walls and painted wooden fretwork screens, adding a bold splash of colour to the decor.

Kitchen

The Kitchen is a chef’s dream. Spacious, immaculate and professionally equipped, it features cream terrazzo surfaces, cabinets and adjacent store rooms. There is also a laundry and a service area hidden away at the back.

Spa

The spa sits on the triangular piece of land at the point where the two rivers meet. A sacred underground spring was recently discovered on this enchanted spot, making it the perfect setting for a spa. On the opposite side of the river is Batur Sari Temple, where the local Balinese people make offerings of flowers and fruit to the gods.

The spa area is accessed via a little bridge under a pergola dripping in cascading thunbergia, bounded by torch ginger, giant taro leaves and frangipani trees. Guests will be greeted by a pair of open-air, raised, stone bathtubs exquisitely hand carved, each in the shape of a 2-headed elephant with water spouting from the trunks. The tubs, complete with ornate floral patterns on the sides, are set within a spring water pool and accessed by a wooden deck. This is a magical place for a splash or a soak after a spa treatment.

The spa is comprised of five open-sided roundhouses complete with conical thatched roofs following the architectural style of Irian Jaya. There are two raised massage pavilions, one with a single treatment bed and the other designed for couples, with two treatment beds. Rustic and very romantic, the pavilions are furnished with chunky hand carved furniture and diaphanous drapes that can be drawn for privacy. Set right beside the river, guests will be massaged to the constant gurgle of the water. Two more pavilions house a pair of hot and a cold Jacuzzis fashioned from dark grey lava stone; each circular Jacuzzi is big enough for six people, and looks directly across the river to the temple and the holy spring. The final building is the main spa reception, where guests can enjoy a ginger tea or healthy juice drink and canapés after their treatment. Behind the Palimanan carved fretwork screen is a small timber deck facing a gentle water cascade, designed specifically for yoga and meditation. There are also two rainshowers, toilets, a sauna, and an outdoor shower.

Various buildings, all with traditional Balinese alang-alang (thatch) roofs, frame the gardens and house the five king-sized suites. General Description

The Entrance

The Garden

Paloma Villa features an extensive garden with lush foliage comprising diverse types of tropical flowers and plants providing enough space for relaxation. An outdoor dining table is set for up to 6 persons for either to enjoy breakfast in a warm sunrise or dinner by the swimming pool.

The Swimming Pool

The large swimming pool is located in the garden, overlooking the terraced rice field surrounded the villa. Several long chairs are scattered along this 90m2 swimming pool providing enough space fro everybody to enjoy the sun by the pool.

The Bale

Dining area

Main House dining area consists of two parts. One is an informal dining area located in the garden and the other dining table connecting the living area with the main kitchen, featuring 8 comfortable seats by a Chinese antique cabinet. The dining area is kept cool by a roof fitted fan. A small dining are in the corner of the kitchen could be also a comfortable option for a small party of closed friends for a more warm and casual dining during breakfast or quick lunch. The Guest Wing also offers an open dining area by the kitchen for a more option of privacy once needed by the guests.

Kitchen

The kitchen is located in the Main House, situated next to the dining room which is equipped with all modern amenities and also spacious room for the convenience of the guests. Small pantry is allocated on the site of the kitchen while the staff entrance is provided from the back of the kitchen to ensure the guests comfort during the food preparation. Several antique collections displayed in the kitchen add certain vibrant to this area.

The Living Area

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Entering the villa, the staff quarter is set on the corner of a large covered parking separated from the villa area. Stepping ahead, a traditional Balinese gate and “Palimanan” stair leads down to the villa to reach a first opened sitting area. From here the visitor can appreciate the perspective of the villa with the infinity pool ending in the Indian Ocean.

Separated by an isle with a water fountain, each of the first two buildings is featuring one bedroom nicely set in cottage style each with private entrance. On the right side, the Jacuzzi Suite is featuring a private garden with a wall fountain and outdoor shower, the bedroom with en suite bathroom including bath tap, toilet and two basins, a walking dressing and a private Jacuzzi accessible directly from the bedroom. On the left side the Studio suite is featuring different gardens, one with out door shower, a very large bathroom including bath tap, toilet and two basins , two walk in dressing and a studio room with private entrance and direct access to the bathroom which could be change into an extra bedroom.

The main two storey building overlooking the over flow swimming pool, the tropical garden and the Indian Ocean is featuring on the ground floor an open air living area divided into living, dining, pool sitting, a close media room set on the backside offering large flat TV screen completed with comfortable seating and a well equipped kitchen.

The upper level features two other bedrooms facing the sea separated by an open space library. Each bedrooms suite features a large balcony, a dressing and a bathroom with showers, bath tub, toilet and two basins. In the lower garden close to the sea, a rounded shape large Jacuzzi is discreetly set with a wooden deck to relax facing the Indian Ocean.

Emerald River (4 Bedrooms)

Emerald River Villa is a 4 bedroom property (780 m2) comprising of 4 different 2 storey buildings linked on the second floor by a large terrace and pathway bridges. The 150 m2 overflow swimming pool surrounded by a gymnasium, the terrace and the open space living room is overlooking the rest of the property and gives an extraordinary feeling of luxury so well integrated in the true Bali. The land size is 2000 m2 with numerous tropical trees including a huge mango tree sloping down until the rivers edge 200 meters from the beach.

The villa has been designed by the very reputable ‘Yoka Sara’ who has expressed a modern architecture but has kept the Balinese touch with traditional material such as wood roof, terrazzo, merbau floor… The furniture and equipment are providing an international high level of comfort including 2 satellite communication, wireless internet high speed connection, Bose surround sound system, LCD flat screen television.

ENTRANCE

From the main gate surrounded by an external tropical garden, a large path slope down to the round about where 4 covered car parks are surrounding the main entrance of the villa. On the right side, a hill planted with tropical trees and the temple are providing a high privacy. On the left a large pound decorated with lotus and bamboo gives the feeling of the best of Bali.

THE TERRACE

The gate of Emerald River is opening on a large pebble wash terrace representing on a large scale different tattoo design. This 150 m2 terrace is planted of several palm trees and is featuring 3 single and 1 double well design long chairs, all equipped with comfortable mattress and protected by umbrellas.

THE POOL

Surrounding on one side by the terrace, the 150 m2 overflow pool plus the 25 m2 whirlpool are 25 m long. The amazing shape, the size, the cladding with Indian stones, the overflow on the garden below and the big mango tree gives certainly the most inviting private swimming pool in Bali.

THE GYM

On the right side of the pool, the 60 m2 open space gym with wood floor is featuring equipment such a Treadmill, Bicycle, Dumbbell, Trainer, Balls, DVD and Television… The east wall is entirely covered by a mirror.

LIVING AREA

The 100 m2 open space living area with its terrazzo floor is proposing the same tattoo design than for the terrace. It’s featuring on one side very comfortable sofa and armchairs and close to the pool a modern well designed waterproof sofa combined with armchairs and coffee table.
The living area is equipped with 3 air fan, Bose sound system.

DINING AREA & PANTRY

From the living area, through a wood bridge, guests entered in the air conditioned dinning room and pantry. All the walls are in wood and glass, the floor in terrazzo. From here, you can see the pool on one side and the ocean on the other side. The high ceiling is equipped of air fan as well. The pantry is fully equipped and the dinning room is featuring a 12 seats round table.

TV & LIBRARY

Under the dinning area a 40 m2 air conditioned TV and library room is featuring large flat TV screen with Bose sound system, 2 sets of sofa and armchairs, 2 large coffee tables, air fan.
