Villa Sadia (4 Bedroom)

Villa Sadia is a private four-bedroom Bali villa, located in the traditional village of Tiyingtutul and blessed with beautiful rural views. The two-storey building is distinguished by its contemporary tropical architecture, fresh white walls, lime washed teak doors and structural elements, and is complimented with stylish modern furnishings.

This holiday rental villa in Bali comprises an open plan living and dining area flanked by a fully equipped feature kitchen, an upstairs sitting room, and four bedrooms, each with ensuite bathrooms, one of which is situated in a self contained guest pavilion.

Other features include a wide upstairs balcony and a sunny ground floor terrace that extends into a gorgeous garden that slopes down to a 12-metre swimming pool, complete with a pool bar.

Space, style and simplicity define this charming Bali villa that is framed by the terraced rice fields that characterize the island’s heritage.

Accommodation

The accommodations at Villa Sadia comprise two living rooms with audio visual facilities, a dining room, and four bedrooms, each with an adjoining bathroom. Each bedroom is equipped with a safe deposit box, and WiFi Internet is accessible throughout the property.

Bedrooms

The master bedroom is located upstairs and is furnished with a canopied four poster king size bed, fitted cupboards, a sofa, bedside tables and lamps. Also upstairs is a similar bedroom with twin beds that can convert to a king sized bed, depending on guest’s preferences. Both of these bedrooms feature sliding glass doors that open onto a wide balcony terrace furnished with sofas.

Downstairs is another bedroom with a king-sized bed, a sofa and a small dressing area, while on the opposite side of the entrance courtyard is a stand-alone guest pavilion flaunting a turquoise theme and furnished with a king-sized four poster bed.

Each bedroom has a sunny ensuite bathroom, which is completely enclosed but has the feeling of being in the open air due to its glass roof and leafy plants. All the bathrooms have non-slip floor, stylishly bordered by loose pebbles and interspersed with stepping stones, and is fitted with a terrazzo vanity unit and washbasin, a toilet and a standing rainshower. Freestanding terrazzo bathtubs are featured in three of the bedrooms.

Living & Dining Room

The open-plan living and dining room presents white walls and a white terrazzo floor. It is cooled by ceiling fans and natural breezes, and bordered by glass doors that slide open onto a broad garden terrace, inviting the view indoors.

Positioned adjacent to the feature kitchen, lies the dining area, simply furnished with a table for eight. The living area is separated from the dining room by a right angled half wall that makes up the back of the built in L-shaped sofa, featuring a wide and comfortable cushioned seating and is complimented with an LCD flat screen, satellite-channel TV, complete with DVD player and quality audio system with six speakers.

On one side of the living space, glass doors open to a fish pond with stepping stones, and on the other to the sunny terrace, furnished with all-weather rattan daybeds and a table. This is a great spot for barbeques, expertly prepared by the staff using the gas-fired barbeque grill, which is also positioned on the terrace. A guest washroom is located just off the living room.

Upstairs Sitting Room

At the top of the gated staircase is another sitting room, sporting a bold red theme nestled in the midst of all the white décor that characterises the villa. This room offers a more private and cosy, air-conditioned option for watching TV or reading.

Here, red lanterns hang from a vaulted roof above a terrazzo floor, and sofas are positioned around a coffee table and a red shaggy pile rug, while the large LCD flat screen, satellite-channel TV and DVD player sits in a red cabinet, featuring surround sound with multiple speakers.

There is a balcony on either side of this room; one overlooks the pretty entrance garden courtyard, while the other overlooks the main garden and pool, with glorious views of the rice terraces.

Villa Mattise (5 Bedrooms)

The riverside Villa Mattisse is hidden away in the heart of the traditional fishing village of Seseh, just footsteps away from the beach on Bali’s southwest coast. The villa can accommodate up to ten guests; there are four double bedrooms complete with en-suite bathrooms, and a fifth bedroom with a single bed. Two of the bedrooms are situated within self-contained guest houses in the garden, and there is also a large swimming pool that almost seems to overflow into the river. The style is unashamedly romantic, and the funky colonial architecture is enhanced by a thatched roof and a bold black, white and silver décor.

The main house carries a combination of innovative and contemporary shapes, sleek designs and traditional methods of construction. There are open spaces, ample volume of rooms with sliding doors and wooden blinds to allow extra coziness and privacy. A unique feature of the vast elevated living/lounge area is a glass floor showing the swimming pool underneath. At night, the glowing waters of the slim outdoor/indoor lap pool crossing below the lounge to meet the ocean front infinity-edge pool creates a spectacular scene throughout the house!

On the second floor, the two identical bedrooms with their spacious balconies almost make one feels on top of a cruise liner’s bow, the crashing waves are within arm’s reach. From here, guests can have a vantage point to watch the local Jukungs perpetuate a traditional way of fishing. Behind the main house, the L-shaped guest pavilion is a traditional Balinese house, which was completely remodeled to modern standards. It has 2 bedrooms, similar in size and decoration giving a view of the ocean and the lush garden

Master Suite, Guest Suite and Guest House

The Master Suite is accessed by an elevated covered walkway on the Living Room level, bridging a water garden below. A sliding door opens to reveal the air-conditioned Office/Sitting Room, complete with merbau wood floor, antique desk, chairs and original artwork on the walls

The Master Bedroom is entered via another sliding door, where a splendid king-size, canopied bed, dressed in white linens and mosquito netting sits in the center of the room like a throne. It features intricate carving and is a copy of an old Madurese Royal bed. This air-conditioned room is equipped with a TV and VCD player. The walls are decorated in a cool shade of blue. There is a vaulted wood ceiling and folding glass doors that open onto a wide wrap around slate-floored balcony. This allows guests to choose open air sleeping instead of air-conditioning if they wish

The views from this room and balcony are breathtaking. The balcony is furnished with a cushioned day bed, rattan armchairs and a dining table for a private breakfast or lunch. This is also a wonderful spot for sunset cocktails

The ensuite air-conditioned bathroom is luxurious. It boasts a cream-colored marble floor, an abundance of wall mirrors, an oval-shaped terrazzo bathtub for two and twin marble washbasins. A toilet cubicle and a separate shower are each entered via frosted glass doors. The powerful overhead rainshower is complemented by a handheld shower. The air-conditioned Guest Suite is located on the Ground level. The Sitting Room/Children’s Bedroom is entered through a sliding door leading off a covered walkway beside a beautiful water garden. There is an L-shaped sofa that can be converted into twin beds, making this suite ideal for a family

The bedroom is entered through a sliding wooden door which separates it from the sitting room, or through doors opening onto the Terrace and Garden. This generous bedroom is furnished with antiques and artwork, an Oriental rug and a king-size, four-poster steel bed. The bed has elaborate white mosquito netting which allows guests to sleep with the folding glass doors open to the rice field views, or to choose the option of air-conditioning

The Guest Suite is equipped with a safe deposit box and a mini-bar fridge. A beautiful old cabinet holds a TV and VCD player. The dressing area and ensuite bathroom follow the same layout and have the same amenities as the Master Suite. The free standing Guest House is located on the far side of the living and dining pavilion on ground level. It can be reached from the Dining Room or by an outdoor staircase which leads from the Living Room. It is air-conditioned and features a soaring ceiling and a merbau wood floor. The furnishings include a queen size, four-poster bed fashioned from carved teak, with exquisite white linens and mosquito netting; an antique cabinet housing a TV and VCD player with surround sound; a writing table and chairs

The air-conditioned bathroom has a marble floor and a dressing area with fitted wardrobes, huge mirrors, and louvered doors which hide a safe deposit box and mini bar fridge. Double marble topped vanity units support large glass washbowls with teak cupboards and shelves underneath. The toilet cubicle and separate shower are each located behind frosted glass doors. The powerful rainshower is complemented by a handheld shower. Glass doors lead to an open air bathroom romantically lit by unique wall lamps. Welcoming guests with its generous size and openness, the Living Room offers a sweeping vista of the pool, gardens and adjacent rice fields. Cooled by ceiling fans and natural ventilation, and characterised by an Indian slate floor and a soaring vaulted ceiling, the room is exquisitely furnished with cream leather sofas, chairs and bar stools. The centrepiece is an impressive iron chandelier designed by the owners. There is a polished granite party bar with fridge and sink, and a round table with chairs for intimate dining

A stairway leads down to the Dining Room, located on ground level next to the pool terrace. The room is furnished with a three meter long table which seats ten, a sideboard and a pair of 24-light standing candelabra. The ceiling features cove lighting and specialty lighting for the stunning art works which adorn the walls. Folding glass doors offer guests cool alfresco dining and the ambience is enhanced by water sounds emanating from adjacent ornamental ponds, water spouts and bubbling urns

Service Kitchen and Media Room

A timber bridge traverses a pond between the Dining Room and the immaculate Service Kitchen. It is fully equipped with everything that the chef needs to prepare delicious meals in accordance with the requests of each guest. A Wet Kitchen and a Laundry are both tucked away at the back, along with the staff entrance

The air-conditioned Media Room is equipped with a 32-inch LCD flat screen TV, VCD player and surround sound system. It is entered via folding doors leading from the Dining Room. This comfortable room is furnished with two deeply-cushioned sofas, traditional batik cushions, a games table with Plexiglas chairs, and an innovative glass topped coffee table created by hand from coffee-wood branches. Sliding windows on one side overlook an ornamental pond and a window on the other side looks out at the pool. Books and artifacts fill the bookcases

Garden, Swimming Pool, and Relaxation Pavilion

The 16 x 3 metre, blue slate tiled swimming pool has a waterfall at one end, two infinity edges, and is anchored by a Pendopo, used as a Relaxation Pavilion. This ancient structure is the core of a 150-year old wooden Joglo house from Java. It showcases ornate hand-carvings and robust columns, and was constructed using traditional tongue and groove techniques without the use of any nails or bolts. Furnished with a rustic table, a deeply cushioned rattan sofa and chairs, this raised pavilion, with its antique terracotta tiled floor is another delightful area for dining, entertaining and relaxing. There is a granite topped bar for serving at the back of the structure. The white Palimanan stone pool terrace is shaded by sweet-scented white frangipani trees; there are 4 sunbeds and two umbrellas

The expansive gardens are dotted with palm trees and white-flowering shrubs and trees. Open to the rice fields on one side with a view unbroken by walls or fences, the property expands its borders

Water is a predominant element in the spiritual landscape of Bali. This is reflected throughout the property, but especially in the enchanting water garden between the bedroom pavilion and the Living/Dining pavilion. The pond features white lotus and bulrushes, and is planted with white orchids and a frangipani tree on an island. Two serene Buddha statues sit in stone caves against a backdrop of flowing water to complete this beautiful water feature

Villa Olesha is a magnificent three bedroom villa located on the west coast of Bali, just five minutes walk from the sandy surfing beach of Canggu. It is reachable within 20 minutes from Ngurah Rai International Airport, it is only 15 minutes from the vibrant tourist area of Seminyak, and 15 minutes drive to Nirwana Golf Course

VILLA STYLE

It beckons the visitor with a tall artistic tower with arches and stained glass walls. A terracotta sun-face gives approaching visitors the feeling they are entering a very special place located among the emerald green paddy fields. The villa is designed with amazing Balinese architecture and an Indian touch. The entrance level of the sprawling property, welcomes the visitor with statues of elegant Balinese ladies holding flower- pots atop their heads. The car passes along the coconut, mango and other fruit trees to reach the garage where the staff receives the visitor against the backdrop of a magnificently sculpted Javanese door.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The lounge, measuring 16m long and 5m wide is beautifully decorated niches on one side and a view to the courtyard on the other side. It has a 3m x 2m single block inlaid green marble floor with mirrors on the ceiling covering the air-conditioners. The lounge also merges into the entertainment section with a giant TV screen providing satellite TV, DVD, LCD, VCR and BOSE surround music for a home theatre. A library is on the left side. The right side opens to a colorfully tiled verandah with relaxing wooden chairs for a view of the water fountain in the center of the courtyard.

Wooden stairs, under an imposing three-span arch, lead to the first floor with wide-open windows, equally big as the Master suite down below. It gives an eyeful of the magnificent scenery around including the ocean and a splendid view of the estate. The wooden columns and hand carved arches provide a charming setting for a relaxed atmosphere with friends on the specially designed chairs, sofas and canopy-bed. A bar is also set on the exquisite wooden floor.

The colonnade of the house leads to the two guest bedrooms located on one side of the garden. Air-conditioned with mosquito nets, the rooms are charmingly decorated with painting and lovely statues in the en-suite indoor-outdoor toilet and bathroom. A large wardrobe with safety box and a writing desk with chair complete the furniture arrangement. In between the two guest bedrooms is a daybed for lounging and to appreciate the manicured garden with exotic hand crafted statues in white palimanan stone.

The colonnade, with beautiful Indian and Balinese paintings on the right side walls, passes through a charming entry with a stone carved screen on the left and ends at the master bedroom. The large Master bedroom with wide sliding glass doors opens to the swimming pool on one side and a wooden deck on the other. In the center of the property is a formal square living room. On the right of the colonnade leading to the living room is a uniquely designed toilet. The living room is open on all the four sides with tall sliding glass doors and an antique wooden door facing the second level garden. The reclining sofas and chairs under a fan with a stereo music system gives a breathtaking view of the third and the fourth lower levels of the property and the swimming pool; a world far from the madding crowds. A beautifully crafted ceramic inlay at the center of the room reinforces the Asian touch brought home ecstatically by three magnificent silk paintings. The four steps, in front, lead to the white terrace with a motive for chess. The terrace is ideal for parties and events. The colonnade also leads to the raised dining room on wooden pillars. The dining room is open on all the three sides with wooden columns supporting beautifully carved arches. Two dining marble tables mounted on Palimanan stones with antique dragon-shaped candle-supports and specially designed leather chairs provide an elegant feeling of comfort and ease.

On the fourth and the lowest level of the estate is set a unique lumbung, among luxurious flowers and fruit trees with fish-ponds and fountains. The architecture is that of a rural rice-barn with thatched roof. It comprises gym area on the lower level and spa area on the first floor provided also with a fan and a mosquito curtain making it a very intimate place to enjoy the rural and rustic atmosphere. The view of the vast expanse of multi-tiered rice fields beyond the swimming pool and the peaceful river set against the traditional rice-barn with deck can washed away any stress. The kitchen right behind the dining room is fully equipped to meet with the demands of the rich menu.

The large infinity swimming pool placed at the end of the third level of the property is ideal for the community time. The eighteen-meter long pool gives ample scope for a good work out as also fun and frolic. Easy chairs of different designs provide sunbathing facilities in any postures. The Balinese Bale with comfortable cushions facilitates reading or napping under the roof covered with bougainvillea flowers. The pool lets the water through a cascade into a lower pool. A wooden platform under the mini-waterfall of about three meters helps to have a full invigorating body massage making it a natural Jacuzzi.

Reach the landmark tower of Olesha, by slowly walking along the soft but firm green grass of the wide lawns surrounded by stunning flowers of all hues, fruit trees showing off their attractive possessions against the relaxing chatter of the water fountains at all the four levels. Going up the stairs of the tower, giving an atmosphere of ages passed by with the arches and the stained glass wall, you reach an intimate salon on the top with a comfortable mattress. There, leaning against the round cushions, you are a Nawab, looking down on the fabulous property with the volcanic mountain range of Bali on one side and the Uluwatu peninsula and Indian Ocean on the other. Sandwiched between them is the inevitable lush greenery of Bali with a bright orange colored glorious sun either rising or setting. An idyllic place to melt into Mother Nature.

Enter Villa Asmara through traditional antique doors which lead you across the palimanan stepping stones and over a lily pond with water features. The living and dining area are open-air located on the ground floor overlooking gardens and the swimming pool with a large stone Buddha water feature. The garden lawns are perfectly manicured with tropical palms and plantation. The salt water swimming pool (14m x 5m) is equipped with pool loungers and umbrella.

Upstairs from the living and dining area is the first master bedroom, featuring glass sliding doors with en-suite bathroom offering views over the rice paddies and the ocean. Bali Villa Arika (4 Bedrooms)

Villa Arika is located in Canggu on the beach in the peaceful village of Pererenan, 9 km north of the restaurant/nightlife districts of Legian and Seminyak and approximately 45 minutes from Bali International Airport. The Greg Norman designed Bali Nirvana Golf Course at Tanah Lot is also a 15 minute drive towards the North.

Villa Arika sits just back of the dunes on one of Bali’s best west-coast surfing beaches. Finish in April of 2002, it offers views of the Bukit to the south, to the north lie palms, rice terraces and a series of headlands, the nearest of them surmounted by a charming temple. From the master bedroom, you have a view of Mount Agung Bali biggest, most sacred volcano.

The Villa

This four-bedroom property is situated on 1.2 hectares on the beach and has amazing sunsets. Villa Arika is decorated in an eclectic fashion with a very tasteful mix of classic wood and marble pieces along with more contemporary rattan furniture. The cushions and silk pillows are made of fabrics from all over Asia and are in rich hues of purple and gold. The artwork has been collected by the owner the past 25 years and is from some of Indonesia most famous artists.

Upon entering the grounds, via the Balinese entrance gate, one finds oneself entering an extraordinary courtyard with lush tropical trees, flowers and plants and a trickling array of fountains. As you walk along the path to the 10 meter high outdoor living area, you pass by 4 ancient stone Balinese statues. Stone steps takes you across the fish pond and you enter the outdoor living area.

Upon entering you are immediately struck by the amazing views of the ocean that are just past the swimming pool and gardens. Villa Tanju (4 Bedrooms)

Villa Tanju is a luxurious four-bedroom beachfront villa, located at Mengening Beach on Bali’s southwest coast. Villa Tanju Bali is comprised of a series of pavilions, leisurely spread throughout 2,400 square metres of tropical gardens, complete with a stunning 15 x 4.5 metre infinity-edge swimming pool, lotus ponds and restful water features. The simple application of timber, terrazzo, natural colours, fabrics and local materials, such as the alang-alang grass used in the construction of the roofs, is consistent throughout the property. The rugged beach is just a few metres away and the glorious views take in the distant volcanoes, dramatic coastline and neighbouring Hindu sea temple of Pura Bata Ngandang, perched on a rocky outcrop and lashed by the waves of the Indian Ocean.

The Setting

The property is entered via a traditional Balinese gate, sheltered by a thatched roof and framed in a patchwork of random rocks. A pathway leads past bulrush ponds and water spouts, and a welcome ensemble of five gamelan musicians hand-carved out of local paras stone. Stepping stones weave through the neat garden, past palm trees, dwarf lanterns, tipsy earthenware pots and sweet scented frangipani, between twin lotus ponds stocked with fish, to the 9 x 6 metre stand-alone living pavilion, which is centrally positioned, facing the ocean and bordering the pool deck. This room is completely encompassed by glass to preserve the view through the garden; the clever design allows guests to completely fold back the doors to create an open-air pavilion, cooled by natural breezes and ceiling fans. Bamboo blinds on all four sides can be dropped for privacy and shade. Featuring a cool terrazzo floor, the room is tastefully furnished with deeply-cushioned sofas, a low coffee table and stylish lamps. A selection of games and magazines is provided for the use of the guests, together with a high quality music system with surround sound provided by speakers hidden in the roof.

Positioned on the seaward side, aspected west towards the magnificent sunsets, the angled swimming pool appears to overflow into the beachfront garden. A timber sundeck is located on one side, the raised position ensuring that it catches the cool sea breezes. It is furnished with four sunbeds and two umbrellas and there is also an outdoor shower. A Buddha statue rests at one end overlooking the fresh green coastal lawns, which are dotted with coconut palms. The gardens are perfect for weddings, parties and functions, and also provide a great play area for children.

Dining & Kitchen

Approached by stepping stones, the striking hexagonal dining pavilion is completely open-air, sheltered by a soaring alang-alang grass roof. It features a terrazzo floor and is furnished with a grand dining table and ten chairs; a wonderful place to enjoy a semi-alfresco dining experience within sight and sound of the sea. A guest washroom and toilet is discreetly positioned to one side.

The immaculate, well equipped western-style kitchen adjoins the dining pavilion, and is fully fitted with gas stove, oven, and numerous appliances. Here, the cook will prepare delicious meals from a menu of Indonesian and International dishes.

Bedrooms & Bathrooms

The master bedroom is situated within another self-contained single storey pavilion. It is entered by a pair of solid teak antique doors complemented by a teakwood floor, and is characterised by a king-size four-poster bed draped in white muslin, together with cane planter chairs, ceramic lamps and eye-catching local artwork. The bedroom is also equipped with a flat screen satellite TV with DVD/music system, together with a split air-conditioning unit and overhead ceiling fan. Large sliding glass doors open on to an outdoor verandah running the length of the bedroom. This sheltered timber deck is furnished with a huge daybed, where guests can relax and enjoy the ocean vista and the rhythmic murmur of the waves. A door leads off the bedroom into a walk-in wardrobe complete with shelves, hanging space and a safe deposit box. The romantic en-suite garden bathroom is walled for privacy and is characterised by an open-air shower on a Palimanan stand, bordered by frangipani, palms, giant taro leaves and colourful croton. The room is dominated by an oversized sunken bathtub, fashioned out of cream terrazzo. The toilet is hidden behind a half-wall, on top of which reclines a Buddha statue.

Two more air-conditioned bedrooms, each complete with an en-suite bathroom, are located on the ground floor of the main two-storey building. One room is furnished with twin beds, ideal for kids, together with desk, chair, radio/tape player, built in wardrobe, ceiling fan and safe deposit box. Antique doors open into a lush garden bathroom featuring a sheltered oval bathtub and outdoor shower, toilet and vanity unit with washbasin. Sliding glass doors lead from the bedroom onto a timber deck, which runs the full length of the front of the building and is furnished with a table and four high stools. A double bedroom is also accessed from the wooden deck, and is a mirror image of the room next door complete with adjoining garden bathroom. It is furnished with a king size bed, together with desk, chair, radio/tape player, built in wardrobe, ceiling fan and safe deposit box.

An external sweeping staircase curves up to a large wooden balcony deck with a comfortable daybed from where guests can enjoy fantastic panoramic views while chilling out with a book or a sunset cocktail. This upstairs area houses the fourth air-conditioned bedroom, complete with sliding glass doors onto the balcony. It is attractively furnished with a four-poster king-size canopied bed and a time-honoured chest of drawers, and is fitted with a ceiling fan and safe deposit box. It also features an antique wooden door that leads onto the balcony. A third door accesses a bathroom with shower cubicle, toilet and shell-veneered washbowl. The top section of the exterior wall is open to allow the fresh air to permeate together with the soothing sound of running water from the fountain in the garden below.

The study room is positioned next door to the upstairs bedroom and shares the adjoining bathroom. This room also doubles as a fifth bedroom, where guests can relax in snug, air-conditioned comfort. It is well equipped with a desk, Broadband Internet access, computer, 29-inch flat screen plasma TV with satellite reception and DVD/music system. There is also a wall unit with drawers, shelves and cupboards full of books, DVDs, music CDs, and games for the use of the guests. Glass-fronted doors open onto the verandah.

Villa The Alir (5 Bedrooms)

The Alir is a spacious 5-bedroom estate, nestled beside a river within the beautiful agricultural belt between Seminyak and Canggu on Bali’s southwest coast. The property comprises a main house and two additional guest houses, a relaxation pavilion and a large swimming pool, set in 2800 square metres of beautiful gardens. An omnipresent quality of the property is the abundance of light and space. The graceful architecture of the main two-storey house blends tropical architecture with contemporary design, traditional Indonesian materials, a shingle roof, and recycled teak and bengkirai hardwood floors. The pool house and guest bungalow are traditional Javanese wooden houses that have been lovingly restored and rebuilt.

Living Area

The open sided living area is located on the ground floor of the main house. Cooled by natural breezes and pendulous ceiling fans, it lends itself to be an ideal entertainment environment, incorporating a modern open plan kitchen and boasting wonderful views of the terraced gardens. This large airy space is furnished with a solid dining table for eight, created from a single piece of wood, and ideal for dinner parties. There is also a comfortable sofa and two chairs, a coffee table, a funky lantern, and local artefacts and artwork. A staircase leads up to a splendid mezzanine with a recycled teakwood floor and a balcony walkway lined with four statuesque urns. The well equipped open plan kitchen features glass fronted wall units and a black marble serving counter. It is here that the staff will prepare and serve delicious meals.

Bedrooms 1 & 2

Two air-conditioned bedrooms are positioned on the ground floor of the main house. Mirror versions of each other, each is accessed by antique doors and each features a warm wooden floor and latticed sliding doors that are reminiscent of the shoji screens of traditional Japanese architecture; when opened the pool deck and garden appears and the interior becomes one with nature. Each bedroom is furnished with a custom made king size bed and a desk, and each has a walk in wardrobe with cupboards, hanging space and a large mirror. Each en-suite bathroom features a tiled floor, and open air area surrounded by a wall with an indoor-outdoor rainshower, unpolished marble walls, a glass washbasin, a toilet, and a large terrazzo bathtub for soaking up those romantic relaxing interludes.

Cinema Room

The air-conditioned cinema room is located at the top of the stairs, to one side of the mezzanine, and accessed by a set of double doors. The room, complete with its soaring roof, is furnished with comfortable cushioned sofas and ottomans, a coffee table and a desk in one corner, it features built-in glass shelving and a floor created from recycled antique timber. This state-of-the-art home theatre boasts a huge wall mounted cinema screen, supported by a hi-tech surround sound and music system, and a projector for showing movies and DVDs, in addition to satellite TV channels.

Bar & Pool Table

At the far end of the mezzanine, overlooking the Zen bamboo garden is a semi open-air area with a teakwood bar, together with heavy solid wood bar stools, corner seating and a pool table. To one side is a guest washroom with toilet and washbasin.

Pool House

The pool house rests in an elevated position within the garden. It is accessed by five steps, and characterised by antique teakwood walls and a shingle roof. This enchanting little house is flanked by a raised timber deck, complete with an outdoor bar, a quality sound system, a barbeque area and an outdoor dining table and chairs. Gorgeous antique doors open to reveal a spacious air-conditioned bedroom with an antique teakwood floor, on which rests a custom made king size teak bed, innovative bedside lamps, a large dressing table and a wardrobe under the high, timber-lined roof. Local hand-woven ikat bed linens complete the picture of rustic charm. The semi open air en-suite bathroom features glass shelving, a glass washbasin, rainshower and toilet.

Bungalow

A two storey building at the far end of the garden houses two further air-conditioned bedrooms. The downstairs lagoon bedroom with ensuite overlooks the waterfall and enjoys the tranquillity of the sound of running water. Warm hardwood Mabao floors and beautiful tropical flower paintings help complete the feeling of Zen.

Villa The Beji (6 Bedrooms)

Taking its name from a sacred spring, the magnificent six-bedroom villa, known as ’The Beji’, rests within 40-are of land, bordered by rice terraces and a river, within walking distance of the beach on Bali’s south-western coast. The property is comprised of ten single-storey pavilions, together with one double-storey building, a 27-metre swimming pool, and ornamental ponds, leisurely spread throughout lush, expansive gardens. Constructed of local materials, with ironwood shingle roofs, the style is restful with a fresh cool décor and contemporary furnishings.

Living Pavilion & Sunken Lounge

The elevated, open-sided, living pavilion presides over the garden; its Palimanan stone floor extending onto a timber deck bounded by a cascading wall of water. Embracing a stylish cream and black colour theme, the pavilion is furnished with three yielding sofas, two ottomans and a coffee table, complemented by a coiled stainless steel sculpture and lamp-stand created by local sculptor, Chen of ’Chenergy’. Ideal for entertaining and relaxing, this ample lounge is cooled by natural breezes and paddle ceiling fans. Surround-sound music speakers are fitted in the high roof. To one side of the Living Pavilion is another deck, with two frangipani trees and an open-air sunken lounge, presenting built-in cushioned seating at a lower level.

Dining Pavilion

The elegant dining pavilion showcases a huge teak dining table, large enough to accommodate up to 18 people. The pavilion is open on three sides with a high roof, and a creamy-white Palimanan stone floor. Antique artefacts are displayed in alcoves within the supporting pillars, and wooden benches provide additional seating; a stainless steel sculpture takes pride of place, and an ornamental pond runs along one side. A guest washroom is located close to the dining pavilion.

Kitchen

The state-of-the-art service kitchen is located behind the dining pavilion, and is fully equipped with everything that the staff need in order to produce delicious Western and Asian meals. Fitted with gleaming appliances, enhanced by black marble and teak, this impressive kitchen is also a professional facility for outside caterers to prepare lavish feasts for weddings, parties and special functions.

Library / Media Room and Upper Deck

A flight of steps leads from the dining pavilion to the air-conditioned library and media room, located close to the entrance of the property. This is the only room at the villa that is positioned on an upper level. Featuring a teakwood floor, and fitted with a ceiling fan in addition to the air-conditioning, this home-theatre is furnished with L-shaped sofas, ottomans, coffee tables, lamps, and built-in bookshelves. It boasts a wall-mounted, electronically-operated 1.5 metre cinema screen, supported by a hi-tech surround-sound and music system, and a projector for showing movies and DVDs, in addition to satellite TV channels. Double doors open onto a stone balcony deck, with an enormous daybed and gorgeous views of the rice fields.

Bedrooms

There are six air-conditioned bedrooms at The Beji, each with its own en-suite bathroom, dressing room, and open-air relaxation deck. Each bedroom is equipped with a flat screen TV with satellite channels, a DVD player and quality sound system, and a safe deposit box. Additionally, there are two furnished, open-sided, living pavilions shared by the double and twin-bedded suites.

The two master suites are located on either side of the pool, accessed by sliding glass doors with wooden shutters. Each of these sizeable bedrooms presents a polished teakwood floor, a king-size, canopied four-poster bed, comfy chairs, a standard lamp, and a cushioned window seat. The TVs in the master bedrooms are 29-inch. A separate dressing area, adjacent to each bedroom, offers plenty of hanging and storage space. Each sumptuous bathroom is dominated by an oversized terrazzo bathtub, which is surrounded by a raised wooden deck complete with a built-in cushioned seat. Teak vanity units, twin washbasins, large wall mirrors, a walled garden area planted with palms and taro, and a spacious rainshower with a pebbled surround completes the picture of bath-time opulence. In front of each master bedroom is raised wooden deck overhanging the two shallow areas of the swimming pool. Each is furnished with a massive 3.5 x 2 metre daybed.

The two double suites and two twin-bedded suites are very similar in design to the master suites. The adjoining bathrooms are smaller than the master bathrooms, but sumptuous nonetheless! Features include open-air rainshowers bordered by young bamboo, sunken bathtubs and twin washbasins, complemented by soaring roofs and glassless windows with carved Palimanan fretwork screens. Outside, wooden decks with comfy armchairs and cushioned daybeds are flanked by bubbling ponds stocked with bulrushes and koi.

Garden & Recreational Facilities

The gardens encompass a clipped velvety lawn, flanked by a pair of regal feathery palms. The splendid 27 x 10-metre swimming pool is the focal point; it is 2.2 metres deep, with two segregated shallow areas for kids, positioned at either side. The timber pool deck has the appearance of an island, and is furnished with red umbrellas and four, red, triple-sunlounger-chairs. Speakers positioned beside the pool carry music around the garden. There is also a secluded garden beside the main entrance and dining pavilion, planted with giant taro and white flowering shrubs.

The extensive open space within garden, together with the numerous terraces and living areas, makes The Beji an ideal tropical setting for parties, weddings, celebrations, barbeques and other functions. The sizeable modern kitchen provides the staff with the equipment and facilities to cater for a wide variety of events and many guests. Villa Simona Oasis & Spa (5 Bedrooms)

The spectacular Simona Oasis & Spa is a 5-bedroom destination villa and spa, resting upon a venerated spur of land fed by a holy spring at the confluence of two rivers. The single storey accommodation comprises seven self-contained thatched pavilions, and is located close to the beach at Canggu, a traditional fishing village on Bali’s southwest coast.

The property is heralded by a dramatic Balinese gateway of carved stone and double doors, leading into an entrance garden bordered on one side by a Palimanan stone wall showcasing a magnificent carving in the design of tropical leaves.

Living & Dining Pavilion

Entering the main open air living and dining pavilion, guests will step over ornamental ponds fed by gin-clear natural spring water. With a large dining table at one end and a bar at the other, this raised pavilion presides over the garden and is furnished with comfy daybeds and sofas, a big coffee table and Buddha lamp stands. The coffee and cream décor, together with the reddish-hued bengkirai wood floor, sets the theme throughout the property, while natural breezes enhanced by paddle ceiling fans keep the area cool.

Garden and Swimming Pool

Wide lava stone steps lead down onto a grass and paving stone chequerboard terrace, ideal for dance performances and cocktail parties. Two ancient frangipani trees, together with a Buddha head set within an alcove in one corner, create a peaceful ambience. More steps wind down onto another lawn towards the swimming pool.

The swimming pool is elevated above the garden, and flanked by a delightful gazebo known as a ’bale bengong’, meaning “a place to relax, dream and do nothing”. Complete with a large wooden cowbell, which guests can ring whenever they need to be served with drinks, refreshments or lunch, the gazebo is made comfortable with soft cushions. The raised timber pool deck is furnished with ten sunloungers and four umbrellas. The pool measures 13 x 5.6 metres and is 1.6 metres in depth. It is bordered on one side by towering mature trees alongside one of the rivers against a backdrop of rice terraces. Three more Buddha statues rest serenely in alcoves watching over the garden and pool. The pool area is perfect for barbeques dinners, and looks very romantic at night when it is lit by candles.

Pathways meander through the multi-levelled gardens, which roll down the rivers and feature relaxing riverside bale pavilions, furnished with coffee-coloured cushions and soft cream drapes.

Bedrooms 1, 2, 3 & 4

The bedrooms and their adjoining garden bathrooms are all located in self contained thatched pavilions. Bedrooms 1 & 2 are linked by an open corridor sheltered by a roof. A living tree has been preserved and grows straight through the roof of the corridor, in front of which is a wooden balcony-style deck, complete with a built-in daybed overlooking the river and the beautiful temple on the opposite side.

Each air-conditioned bedroom is entered by double doors showcasing engraved brass handles, and each is characterised by dark reddish brown bengkirai wood floors under soaring roofs. Every bedroom boasts an LCD flat screen individually controlled satellite TV, enabling guests to watch satellite channels independently of each other. Each is complemented by a DVD player, quality sound system and iPod dock. Bedrooms 1, 3 & 4 are furnished with built-in canopied double beds made up with crisp white bed linen. Bedroom 2 features two single beds. Picture windows capture the riverside views, and opulent open-air bathrooms boast cream terrazzo floors, twin washbasins, daybeds for lounging, and large terrazzo bathtubs. The tubs are sheltered from the elements yet positioned within private walled gardens enhanced by soft lawns, frangipani trees, and stone carved ornaments. Each bathroom also features a toilet with an intercom, and a shower in a cubicle that is open on one side to the garden. Furthermore, every guest need is considered with the provision of storage space, wardrobes and mini bars in each room. Sliding wooden shutters behind the beds can be opened so that guests can look out into the bathroom and garden if they wish.

Master Bedroom

The Master Bedroom features a deck-style balcony on two sides, with steps that lead down to a riverside bale relaxation pavilion. The bedroom is notable for the Buddha head and soft panels behind the double bed, flanked by two polished solid wood tree trunks, lit with discreet lighting. There is also a desk, and a dressing area with a huge mirror and a padded ottoman. The bathroom and outdoor Jacuzzi is accessed by a covered walkway with wooden pillars and spring water ponds on either side. The Jacuzzi rests within a thatched pavilion, surrounded by flowering shrubs and overlooking the river. The bathroom features arched open doorways, comfortable furnishings, twin washbasins, a toilet, and a shower big enough for two.

Guest Washrooms

The Guest Washrooms are situated in a thatched pavilion with orange walls and painted wooden fretwork screens, adding a bold splash of colour to the decor.

Kitchen

The Kitchen is a chef’s dream. Spacious, immaculate and professionally equipped, it features cream terrazzo surfaces, cabinets and adjacent store rooms. There is also a laundry and a service area hidden away at the back.

Spa

The spa sits on the triangular piece of land at the point where the two rivers meet. A sacred underground spring was recently discovered on this enchanted spot, making it the perfect setting for a spa. On the opposite side of the river is Batur Sari Temple, where the local Balinese people make offerings of flowers and fruit to the gods.

The spa area is accessed via a little bridge under a pergola dripping in cascading thunbergia, bounded by torch ginger, giant taro leaves and frangipani trees. Guests will be greeted by a pair of open-air, raised, stone bathtubs exquisitely hand carved, each in the shape of a 2-headed elephant with water spouting from the trunks. The tubs, complete with ornate floral patterns on the sides, are set within a spring water pool and accessed by a wooden deck. This is a magical place for a splash or a soak after a spa treatment.

The spa is comprised of five open-sided roundhouses complete with conical thatched roofs following the architectural style of Irian Jaya. There are two raised massage pavilions, one with a single treatment bed and the other designed for couples, with two treatment beds. Rustic and very romantic, the pavilions are furnished with chunky hand carved furniture and diaphanous drapes that can be drawn for privacy. Set right beside the river, guests will be massaged to the constant gurgle of the water. Two more pavilions house a pair of hot and a cold Jacuzzis fashioned from dark grey lava stone; each circular Jacuzzi is big enough for six people, and looks directly across the river to the temple and the holy spring. The final building is the main spa reception, where guests can enjoy a ginger tea or healthy juice drink and canapés after their treatment. Behind the Palimanan carved fretwork screen is a small timber deck facing a gentle water cascade, designed specifically for yoga and meditation. There are also two rainshowers, toilets, a sauna, and an outdoor shower.

Villa Gajah Putih (6 Bedrooms)

Villa Gajah Putih is located in Canggu, just a twenty-minute drive from the greater Kuta/Seminyak area where the prime dining, shopping, and nightlife in Bali are located. Because of its slightly out of town setting, it has the double attraction of being relatively close to everything one might need, while being far enough away to retain a peaceful rural feel. The surrounding village is traditional Balinese, and retains large expanses of pictorial rice fields. This six-bedroom villa and its immense property has the spectacular attribute of being set directly on the beach, and the ocean view enhances the enticing attributes of this prime estate.

The villa consists of one main two-storey building set on a gorgeous sprawling property, the gardens of which have been maturing for over a decade. To the left of the building is an immense vegetable garden, large yard, and tennis court. Artwork collected from around the Indonesian archipelago abounds, enhancing the exotic atmosphere and creating a rich ambience ideal for thoughtful repose. The air is permeated with the sounds of crashing waves and the melodious chirping of tropical birds, which inhabit the flourishing tropical gardens.

Each of the six bedrooms consists of an enclosed air-conditioned room with its own ensuite bathroom. The floors and ceilings are made of ironwood, and each of the bedrooms have at least one glass wall overlooking the ocean-side gardens of the estate. All of the ensuite bathrooms are floored and walled with caramel marble, and have screened-windows overlooking the front gardens.

Set off to the right of the living room when walking straight from the dining area is the first bedroom. The entrance to this bedroom is a traditional Balinese variegated carved doorway, which opens up to reveal two queen sized wooden canopy beds with blue cotton bedcovers from India. Delicate white mosquito nets subtly accented by white flower patterns are draped from the canopies, and reading lights are tactfully attached to the supports for convenience. The beds are separated by a blue Ikat wall hanging and a wooden bedside table upon which rests a porcelain lamp from Hong Kong. The room is flanked on one side by glass, which looks out over the living room and pool table when the white draperies are opened. A rich red Oriental carpet delightfully compliments the ironwood floors. The rest of the furniture consists of a modest wood standing wardrobe and a small writing table with matching chairs.

Within the spacious marble bathroom, a large mask of a meditative face with closed eyes hangs on the wall behind the double showers, mounted on square marble pillars. A wooden towel rack and copper elephant stand sit by the stairs leading into the sunken marble tub which can be filled for a luxurious bath.

On both sides of the doorway to the second bedroom are two majestic red lion-like sculptures. Two wooden queen sized beds with red bedcovers sit on either side of a small table and lamp, behind which is a wall of windows overlooking the garden. The front windows look out to a lily pond filled with fish and two fountains in the form of carved stone tortoises, spouting water from their mouths. Bamboo blinds can be drawn down in the bedroom for privacy. The decor in this room consists of a plain wooden wardrobe, a desk, and matching chairs, and is highlighted by a red and blue Oriental carpet, and two original antique Chinese paintings to either side of the ironwood door leading to the large robe and ensuite bathroom.

An imported pool table sits off to the side of the living room near the ironwood staircase that leads to the second storey. The stairs are divided by a small landing, over which an arched wood doorframe tactfully splits the sunlight. Balinese paintings depicting village life adorn the walls, and a swinging ironwood gate opens up to second floor. The entire second storey is floored in ironwood, and a timber-lined cathedral style alang-alang ceiling opens up the space.

To the immediate left of the staircase, one walks past another large painting and through a set of picturesque carved doors into the first master bedroom. This sublime room is walled on three sides by sliding glass windows with white linen drapes that can be drawn for privacy. An Ikat weaving hangs on the fourth wall between the entrance and the bathroom doorway. The entire bedroom is surrounded by a balcony, which overlooks the front and back gardens, and the vegetable garden to the side. The tremendous bed sits in the middle of the room with a view of the ocean, and boasts a finely dyed cotton red and white bedcover made in India in karma sutra style. Imported Oriental carpets encircle the bed, and an elaborate Chinese style sofa from Java sits off to the side. The ensuite bathroom is another symphony of marble and indulgence.

The forth bedroom overlooks the balcony to one side and offers a sea view to the other. The most notable decoration in this room is the complex mirrored wall hanging from India. As in the other bedrooms, a table and matching sitting chairs and a standing wardrobe make up the rest of the furniture.

The second master bedroom is boasts sliding glass doors overlooking the ocean open up to expose the elegantly carved canopy bed. The white bedcover is of handmade Indian lace, matched by the elegant mosquito net, hand painted in India. A unique Javanese batik wall hanging backs the bed, and depicts a forest setting with animals grazing.

The upstairs living area consists of one main sitting area overlooking a tremendous balcony upon which are set two batik-covered massage tables. Flower boxes filled with fragrant blooming plants surround the balcony. A tall table is situated behind the sitting area, upon which a projector can be put, while a large screen can be pulled down from the ironwood columns framing the scene for movie-viewing. An attractive Chinese-style canopy day bed with mirrored Indian bedcovers sits to one side, offering an enticing spot from which to enjoy the fabulous property and the view it offers its guests.

One can walk out to the actual ground of the property by way of the first floor living area, past two Chinese sofa beds and three crouching Buddha statues. The marble floor is traded for a wood-planked walkway, leading out through the flourishing gardens to the enormous swimming pool. The pool is surrounded by a wood deck, which supports numerous lounge chairs and two hammocks. To the side of the swimming pool is an alluring indoor sauna, completely made of tropical hardwood and roofed with alang-alang. One way glass ensures privacy while inside, yet allowing one to look out to the left towards the vegetable garden and tennis courts, or to the two beachside relaxation bales, ideal for meditation or yoga.

The gate leading to the beach is next to the bales. The tennis court is set on a slightly elevated plane near the beach, and the thick foliage lining the fence tactfully maintaining privacy by sufficiently obstructing the view of the villa without blocking the ocean view from the property. The manicured lawn that makes up the majority of the grounds offers an ideal setting for hosting weddings or large events.

Owing to the owner’s love of fine food, the cooks at the villa are both talented and versatile, offering guests a large choice of delectable meals to enjoy during their stay. Many of the fresh ingredients used for cooking are gathered daily from the villa’s organic vegetable and herb garden.

Villa Coraffan is a newly completed holiday property in Bali’s Canggu district, conceived with a desire to create the most inspiring base from which to enjoy the area’s magnificent views. The Neighbourhood

Canggu is located in the northernmost part of the Kuta district. Coraffan’s neighbourhood is accessible along Jalan Pantai Bolong, also known as Jalan Hotel Tugu for the distinguished hotel at the end of the road. Villa Coraffan is set back by 200 meters from this road, accessible through a private lane. The Villa is only 20 minutes away from Seminyak, though a new road from Canggu Tua to Batu Belig will cut the time to Seminyak’s Petitengget area, (where the Oberoi Hotel is), in half. Canggu’s landscape is dominated by gently rolling hills in varying shades of green, depending on the stage of the rice harvest, and closer to the ocean, pastures dotted with grazing cattle. Under moonlight, Canggu’s landscape is breathtaking as the midnight blue and the softly lit green of the terraced rice fields create a dreamlike vista.

Most of Canggu’s residents earn their living either from farming or fishing, and the government has designated large parcels of the area as “green zones” to avoid the traffic snarls and other conflicts between residential and commercial development experienced in high-density tourist areas of the island. The two main beaches in the area are Pantai Batu Bolong and Pantai Batu Mejan, commonly known as Echo Beach. “The Echo” is very popular among more experienced surfers, while Batu Bolong is more swimmer-friendly, (as long as you don’t go in very far). Both beaches are approximately one kilometer away from Coraffan. Guests often enjoy watching Echo Beach’s spectacular sunsets over a cold beer or a glass of wine at The Beach House restaurant. With the newly opened Canggu International Club, the first of its kind in Bali, and a few international schools in the neighbourhood, Canggu is becoming the preferred location for those seeking sophistication, privacy and peace.

The living room

Coraffan’s open-air living room lets guests stretch out in fan-cooled shade without losing any connection to the pool, the garden or Canggu’s magnificent scenery beyond. By sundown, the room comes into its own with warmly textured lighting and a bar that will bring all the guests together to kick off the evening’s activities.

The dining room

The dining room, which can be as open to the elements as you wish, gives guests a dignified setting to complement our chef’s culinary delights. There are balconies off three sides of the dining room, where guests like to congregate before and/or after each meal to sip cocktails and chat under the stars.

Bedroom 1

This master bedroom suite features a wraparound balcony as well as a crow’s nest terrace offering a glimpse of the Indian Ocean — the perfect place to sip your morning coffee. The suite also includes a partially open garden-style bathroom and a TV nook. The room can be cooled with either air-conditioning or a ceiling fan.

Bedroom 2

The second bedroom features a spacious, partially open bathroom and a balcony overlooking Coraffan’s zen-inspired fish pond. The room is cooled with air-conditioning.

Bedroom 3

This room has a full bathroom, giving guests the option of turning it into a fifth bedroom, which our staff can do by setting up our double sofa bed.

The Fitness Room

Coraffan’s fitness room is equipped with a Universal weight set and a static bike/cross trainer. This room is also fitted out with air-conditioning and a bathroom with a shower.

The Kitchen

Coraffan’s kitchen is spacious and fully equipped with a four-burner stove, oven, microwave and large-capacity refrigerator/freezer.

The Staff

The villa has a full-time staff consisting of 9 staff members (four housekeepers including the Villa Manager Mr. Made, one chef, one gardener, two security guards and one engineer. Coraffan can arrange for extra staffing if needed. Our housekeepers are available to service the bedroom suites each morning and late afternoon. Most of the staff speak at least a basic level of English and have previous experience at 5-star hotels and villas. The staffs generally keep regular working hours with at least three members present at any given time, though we aim to be as flexible as possible and can adjust schedules in accordance with our guests’ needs. Coraffan’s chef, Mr. Ketut had prepared meals in some of Bali’s best-known western restaurants including Planet Hollywood, Legian Beach Hotel and Tragia Restauarant in Nusa Dua prior to joining us and is also adept at Asian cuisines.

The villa itself is set in a picturesque location, with gardens forming a natural amphitheatre. Various buildings, all with traditional Balinese alang-alang (thatch) roofs, frame the gardens and house the five king-sized suites. Main House dining area consists of two parts. The dining area is kept cool by a roof fitted fan. A small dining are in the corner of the kitchen could be also a comfortable option for a small party of closed friends for a more warm and casual dining during breakfast or quick lunch. The Guest Wing also offers an open dining area by the kitchen for a more option of privacy once needed by the guests.

Kitchen

The kitchen is located in the Main House, situated next to the dining room which is equipped with all modern amenities and also spacious room for the convenience of the guests. Small pantry is allocated on the site of the kitchen while the staff entrance is provided from the back of the kitchen to ensure the guests comfort during the food preparation. The Living Area

Emerald River Villa is a 4 bedroom property (780 m2) comprising of 4 different 2 storey buildings linked on the second floor by a large terrace and pathway bridges. The walking dressing is featuring large wardrobe, and a console table. The terrazzo floor bathroom with glass and curtain overlooking the ocean on the bukit side is featuring a separate toilet, a shower and two basins.

BEDROOM 4

On the east side, the 40 m2 bedroom is surrounded by a second floor garden. The air-conditioned bedroom with Merbau floor and glass wall with silk curtain on 3 sides is featuring a king size bed with mosquito net, a large and comfortable armchair, coffee table, satellite TV, DVD player. The walking dressing is featuring 2 wardrobes on each side, and a make up table. The terrazzo floor bathroom is featuring indoor a separate toilet, a shower and two basins. Outdoor, a large terrace surrounded by timber screen for the privacy is featuring a large terrazzo bath tub. From the 2nd floor terrace, a covered stair case is leading as well on the open space dinning area.

At your full service, 1 manager is supervising 15 staffs, including 1 chef, 4 housekeepers, 2 share gardeners and swimming pool attendant, 1 share maintenance boy and 6 share 24 hours security guards.

Villa Ba Jabula has a Balinese heart, combined with African influences from Michel, who spent his childhood in Africa; and of course, a bit of the Mediterranean, those who were born there can never forget it.

This mixture of characters, the love involved in its construction, stone after stone, bamboo after bamboo, step by step… with the marvelous natural materials from the island, handmade by artisans, together with the unconditional support of Wayan, the architect, and Lingga, our manager, it has been possible to achieve this beautiful project, that we now present to you:

VILLA BA JABULA

Our villa is located in a not too touristy area of Bali, approximately 20 minutes away from Denpasar. It is only 5 minutes away from the volcanic beach of Pantai Seseh. At the beach, you will enjoy long walks, during which you might encounter the sampis (cows), fisherman or young people enjoying surf, but you will rarely meet with the tourist.

Villa Ba Jabula stands 25 meters above sea level and surrounded by rice fields where you be the witness of amazing sun sets from the south-western bay of the island. Our cozy villa has 10 people working in it. Their only worry will be to make sure that you enjoy each and every day, every hour, every minute and every second that you spend in Villa Ba Jabula.

Cemagi, the village where the villa is located, is a typical Balinese village, where you will live with its people, their habits, their character, their happiness, their smiles, their affection, their “ceremonis”, their music, their paz….., you will be able to discover the real BALI.
